Training and socialising your puppy from a young age is an essential part of your dogs development. The sooner your pup learns social skills and some manners the sooner you and your pup will enjoy walking and meeting new dog owners and other dogs.
... Help your new puppy start off on the right foot and join the Little Canis'.
Little Canis is a 6 week puppy training course covering the following training:
SIT - Teach your pup to sit on command.
DOWN - Teach your pup to lay on command.
STAND - Teach your pup to stand after a lay or sit.
RECALL - Come when called.
GO TO BED - Teach your pup to go to his bed.
POSSESSIVE BEHAVIOUR - Help your dog accept people near to their food and not to become aggressive.
SAFE HANDLING - This will help desensitise your pup to being touched for Vets visits and groomers.
STAY - We will teach your pup to stay in one spot until you return.
EYE CONTACT - Teach your dog to respond to their name and look at you.
HOUSE TRAINING - Understand how to house train your new pup
SAFE PLAY - Learn how to play safely with your pup.
Social interaction with people to help desensitise.
Social interaction with other dogs.
Fun games for the whole family.

Heres a top tip if you are struggling to get your dog to "lay"...

Conditioning your dog to seemingly scary stimulus or environments can be achieved using positive associations. This is a clip that shows a dog(Mylo) who has been trained(by James) to accept a dog passing who is displaying aggression and just ignore it.

Having trouble Muzzle training your dog? Don't like using a muzzle? Take a look at this video by James regarding Muzzle Training. This video is particularly interesting as the dog being trained doesn't like being touched on the back of the neck which is probably essential with muzzle training :-D

We attend James puppy class and our puppy loves it just as much as us. To know how to train our puppy in a way that is fun is important to us, James knows exactly how to train us too! Totally recommend it for any new dog owner

James has been very patient in showing us how to help him learn the behaviours we need him to learn for his own safety. Scarlet has loved this week in day care. She has been the most behave beagle when coming home. She has slept as soon as she's been able to sit on the sofa which she believes is her bed, her snoring had been turned up a notch! Moving has been made so much easier by the amazing services you provide. Thanks James and team

Jesse my fear aggressive lurcher met James and a couple of his dogs today for the first time can't say how impressed I was by james' knowledge and understanding. I would highly recommend him, at last I feel like there is someone who can help jesse grow in confidence and enjoy the life he so richly deserves. Thank you James

I was going to wait till the training was over to post a review but I can't. James has worked wonders on my french bulldog. My boy had dog aggression problems two weeks on he isn't perfect but is a pleasure to walk, he is a different dog. Can't believe with a bit of guidance and knowing when to do certain things how it can have such a positive effect. I just want to say thank you so much. Changed our merlins life.

Hi James, thank you so much. I know there is still a long way ahead, but we both feel a lot more positive, although Lottie has just passed out!
