Good airport, but parking is expensive now. Pick up time only 10 min, otherwise you pay 5 pounds, for every 10 minutes. Good airport to fly out, even now direct to Berlin. More airlines are coming. TIP: Short stay parking up to one hour is 3 pounds and 2 hours 6 pounds. Just very close to the entrance.

Ok when leaving but when you come back trying to get back to your car is a nightmare. We parked in car park 2 when leaving exit signs indicates direction to leave building to pick up for car park 2 then no further directions as to where you pick the car park bus up from. We ended up walking along way back to our car then had another problem finding thd exit from the car park. Come on Cardiff Airport this is basic customer information get it sorted. I woukd ask the airpot manager to get a complete stranger to leave the baggage area and ask them to try and get to car park 2 without any help and see first hand the problem. We parked in Q2.

It would have been a convenient local airport but the security staff especially the local police in Cardiff international airport reminded me of a very rough night clubs with Thuggish doormen which you are well advised to keep away from! Also being a Muslim with middle Eastern features I get stopped and aggressively manhandled every time I traveled through Cardiff airport.. I fully understand security concerns but you can be diligent but also polite which Cardiff security staff seems to be unable to understand. I prefer using Bristol and Heathrow.

Back from warm and welcoming Turkey to Cardiff airport. We had to walk from the plane, across the tarmac, to the terminal in the pouring rain. Welcome to Wales. Then a long walk up and around what looks like a 2nd rate amusement park, but it's not amusing - think of all the cliches about Wales you can and they are all there. Through the dead eyed immigration officials and collected our baggage which is quick and efficient, and full marks to the cheery shuttle bus driver who took us to car park. No marks at all for the car park. Poor lighting, no signage and difficult to find the exit - about 9 cars drove the wrong way and followed the leader to a dead end - laughable but not funny at 1am. A poor impression for visitors, and a pain in the backside for those of us who try to support Wales airport.

We normally travel every year from Gatwick but this year I was so looking forward to travelling from Cardiff as we live in Pembroke. I have to say how dissatisfied, disappointed and to be honest shock I was with the cleanliness of the food area and toilets of the departure lounge as most of the tables hadn't been cleared from the empty food containers and drink cups and hadn't been wiped down and the toilets were full of dust and to be honest they looked liked they needed a good bleaching. I really think you need to take a good look at your domestic staff and the food and bar staff as they all need retraining . As an airport I'm sorry Cardiff but you are way down the line compared to other airports and you should be ashamed of yourself From Meryl Davies ( not a happy traveler)

Small yet inefficient and unpleasant airport. Security staff impolite, plenty of flight delays "due to operational reasons", rather basic refreshment facilities. Unless absolutely necessary, try to avoid travelling to this airport.

Cardiff Airport is revamped and now in the league of big time commercial airports with more destinations than before. The best local hotel is the Celtic International 5 Minutes away by taxi which they can book for £3! The Airport has a good selection of shops and a great bar too. More and more airlines are lining up and there's talk of a second terminal.

Overall I was impressed with Cardiff airport, it’s certainly a lot nicer than Bristol. Enjoyed the convenience of being able to fly the Chicago-Dublin-Cardiff run with Aer Lingus. It would be nice if more airlines utilized this airport.
