The prices you pay are very cheap for what you get. 8 oz rump £5 monday and Tuesday. Can't beat it. Reasonable price for drinks and most staff are very friendly and the manager is more than happy to do her best for you. Great place for a meal with family or friends, my best part is the breakfast. £3.99 for 2 sausage, 2 bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoe, beans, toast. Can't go wrong. Go there most day on way to work

Myself and my husband went for a meal there On the 12/04/2018 And received excellent service from start to finish from the waitresses to higher members of staff. The waitresses provided fantastic service that was friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our meal . They made sure our table was clean as we sat down and when we finished. Food was lovely and the time from ordering it to is receiving it was satisfactory thank you for a very pleasant evening.

Brought our son up to see dua lipa concert, sun shining so decided to walk around the bay, found this gem of a place, food amazing and staff really friendly, couldn't do enough!! Will be back!!

It's had a bit of a refurb which is very nice. We often eat in here before going over to the WMC. Never had a bad meal , the double dipped ribeye steak is delicious. Staff are lovely and very attentive.

dont usually moan or leave bad reviews and ive been plenty of times and had an ok experience .yesterday was a nightmare ...no pumps working and very little bottle substitutes...then took 20mins to be served for our food as the lady at the bar was too busy discussing with a child behind the bar what he wanted for dinner . after ordering the lady advised a 45 min wait ..very little staff around ...toilets were minging ..blocked smelly and unclean. 1hour 20mins later food arrives ....chips old and overcooked , not a brioche long roll but 2 burger buns , steak on sizzler wasnt sizzling and mushrooms cold and on a separate plate kids pizza was an uncooked Chicago town pizza .. cheese wasnt even melted. my partner went for the xl mixed grill ...menu states extra chicken breast an extra gammon and bigger steak ....no extra gammon and a small steak ...challenged the waiter he went into the kitchen came out and stated you dont get extra gammon ....showed him the menu just to show i wasnt making it up he said "oh yes ill sort it out now " he didnt and nothing was sorted ! shocking ! ordered at 2pm left at 3.45 disappointed and out of pocket ! needs more care can be a fabulous place !

I stood at the bar waiting to be served for over 20 minutes. Only 1 person serving everyone. After the bartender decided to serve all the other people including people that had come after me, I got annoyed and left without a drink. Very frustrated. Food took over an hour to arrive too. Won't be going there again.

ordered my baby (10 months old) her dinner chicken strips off the children’s menu. Her dinner arrives she starts to eat it and chilli sauce drips out of it and burns my poor babies mouth!! Not impressed at all! My poor girl! All the waitress had to say when I told her was ‘ well they should be plain’ really!? Soo not happy!

Words simply fail me when it comes to rating this place. What should be the jewel in the crown in Cardiff Bay is nothing more than an embarrassment for us. As a local I expect a good eatery. Simple food, great service and pleasant surroundings. What you get is mediocre food which turns up over an hour after been ordered, surly and impolite staff and tables which you have to clean yourself. Sort it out!!!

Took my family there today for a meal after the cinema, it was freezing inside , I went to the bar to order the food and waited ages to be served. I asked for the food to come at the same time I was only having a starter breaded mushrooms. The mushrooms arrived on their own and when I asked the waitress if we could have all the food at the same time as I had asked the look on her face was a picture. Eventually after a very long wait the food arrived. my little boys sausage and mash and corn on the cob was pathetic lumpy mash two small sausages and tiny piece of sweet corn. After I had beaten all the lumps out of the mash for him I turned my attention to my food I wish I hadn’t. The first mushroom tasted strange so I tried another one , that one was even worse so I gave up and left it there was not a waitress in sight to help. when I eventually did see the waitress right at the end and she asked me how my food was looking at my full plate I explain to her the problem, She just turned around and disappeared never to be seen again. I went to take my little boy to the toilets but had to come back and asked my partner to take him to the ladies as the men’s was disgusting. The experience was terrible and what made it worse was the bill has to be paid before the food arrived otherwise I would’ve walked out. I would never go there again even if I was offered a lifetime supply of free food. ���

Food was crap min 40 min wait for food on only a few tables �. Use to be nice place too such a shame as we where celebrating a birthday meal.

Ordered food, starters came which were okay. After about 45mins since initial order we were told both mains we'd ordered weren't available and told to pick something else which we did. Waited over an hour in total for mains to arrive and when they did they were very poor quality and my sons burger was burnt not suitable for a 3 year old. No offer of even a complimentary drink or dessert for the inconvenience.

If I could give it 0 stars I would, 0 is generous even for the pile of rubbish this restaurant is. I wish I’d read the other reviews before wasting my time. I’m absolutely fuming. We waited an hour and a half for our food. It didn’t come, so we asked where it was and oh wow they managed to bring it out immediately, funny that. Then we tried eating the very few chips the gave us, steak and burger only to find half the meal was cold. The steak was not edible in any way. There are no words to describe how bad it was, how chewy it was. It was simply not even stake. Who knows what the hell was in it. Absolute pile of shit that not even an animal would want to eat. I don’t even understand how this place is allowed to run. The staff walk around incredibly slowly as if they’re not even at work and god knows what the chefs are up to. The pub was practically empty so the timing issue doesn’t even make sense, I’d love an explanation on this! So upset. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
