The team currently play in the FA Women's National League (Southern Premier).

Cardiff City Ladies Fc Description

Originally founded as Llanedeyrn FC in 1975, Cardiff City Ladies Football Club are now one of the oldest all-female football clubs still standing in Wales.

We currently boast 45 senior players who play in the FA Women's Premier League in England and National Reserve league, along with over 100 junior players in our u12, u14 and u16 teams.

Cardiff City Ladies have won the Welsh Cup a record 11 times and we have also represented Wales in the UEFA Champions League on a number of occasions. We are very proud to have produced a large number of Welsh International players throughout our history too such as Kath Morgan, Jessica Fishlock, Gwennan Harries and Loren Dykes.

Cardiff City Ladies is a voluntary organisation which are dependent on coaches, committees and volunteers giving up their valuable time freely for this fantastic club. The Club ensures its obligation of putting something back into the community by its close links with Sport Cardiff and the Council run Dragon Sport Scheme over the years for children aged 7 to 12 years of age, then making the pathway into the junior sections. The club is also pro active in encouraging its players onto the coaching ladder, by running summer soccer camps for youngsters both boys and girls. The senior players run and administer all the coaching activities for the children.
