I am delighted to confirm that our outdoors therapy for those with tinnitus will begin Monday 1st July and will run every Monday evening up to and including 22nd July.
It will be 6-8pm at Forest Farm, Cardiff. The price will be at subsidised rate of £4 a session which goes to fund my fellow outdoors instructor (Sticks and Stones Outdoor Learning) and site rental. Cardiff Hearing will top up the fees.
You will need to attend all 4 sessions to help us understand if you find it... helpful and a nice thing to do.

Check out this plug of wax I’ve just removed from someone’s ear. You see how it’s all flat and rectangular? That’s because they pushed it down their ear with a cotton bud...it was right up to the drum.

FREE PRIVATE HEARING & TINNITUS CARE FOR VETERANS AT CARDIFF HEARING!
Good news, Cardiff Hearing now accepts patients from The Royal British Legion's Veterans' Hearing Fund so that veterans can receive free private hearing care.
The Veterans Hearing Fund (VHF) provides support to veterans who acquired hearing loss during Service. It is open to those who have a wellbeing need that cannot be met through statutory services (such as the NHS). VHF may fund hearing aids, peripher...als or therapies (e.g., lip reading).
If this could be helpful to you or a loved one, please fill out the following application form, ensuring you can provide all the appropriate documentation, post it to the Royal British Legion at the address on the form, and if approved, you can come and see me to be assessed and I will provide recommendations to the RBL about what care you should receive e.g. hearing aids, Tinnitus treatment, noise protection, CBT....whatever you need.
PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THE FUND IS VERY POPULAR AND CAN TAKE UP TO 10 MONTHS TO BE APPROVED.
