Cardiff Jobshop

The Jobshop is a student recruitment service based at Cardiff University Students' Union. We offer the following to companies in Cardiff looking to recruit: 1. Agency ServiceWe can source the staff on your behalf, pay them through our payroll and then invoice you for the charge. This is often used for one off bookings or work when definite dates and times are known. 2. Advertising ServiceWe can send out a one off advert to our database of students, as well as placing details on our social media pages. With this we would have no further part in the recruitment after the initial advert, all employment would be handled directly by yourselves. 3. Jobs Fair This takes place annually, during Freshers' Week in SeptemberThousands of students register with us for work each year, giving us access to a huge pool of temporary staff. You can use Jobshop as much or as little as you like. We accept both long and short term bookings (anything from a one-off, three hour assignment) and deal with a wide range of vacancies including bar /catering, office /clerical, skilled and unskilled promotional and manual work. Jobshop is owned and run jointly by Cardiff University and Cardiff University Students' Union. All the money generated by Jobshop is invested directly back into the Students' Union, which helps us continue to provide a wide variety of services for students.
