Cardiff Marriott Hotel

My wife booked us in to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary on 5/11/17 We found the hotel and staff very helpful but when we got to the room we found that the heating was not working, we phoned reception and was told there was no engineer in to fix the heating and they sent a member of staff to the room with a small heater. After a night in Cardiff we returned to the room to find it was cold we informed reception once more they sent another member of staff with another heater. The room was very cold throughout the night on check out I made a complaint to the receptionist was told someone would be in touch with us but as yet we’ve heard nothing

Always put my customers in here when they stay in Cardiff. Very good service and staff. Nothing is an effort. Executive lounge is great too

Great location, the staff were very friendly and the place was very clean. The only down side for me was that there was no fridge in the room. But still, a good hotel in a great location.

Sunny, friendly, fab hospitality, really lovely city, don't close Dr Who Experience, the best theme park I ever been (amazing acting and staff)!! I loved the bilingual signs everywhere!! Well done for the effort!! We will definitely come back, we have so much to learn from Wales

I have recently joined the Marriott leisure centre and this was my second visit. I am recovering from spinal cancer and am starting to use the pool, sauna and steam rooms before being able to use the gym. Neil took me through everything on my first visit so going yesterday afternoon was easy. The changing rooms are large with lockers at each end, showers, toilets, hairdryer, sinks, spinner etc are in the middle and gym on one side with pool on the other. Lockers are digital so no need for £1 coin and easy to use. Pool was nice, 120cm deep at most, jacuzzi, steam room and shower all within easy distance of each other for those with mobility issues such as myself. Nice temperature throughout and deep cushions on the loungers around the pool. After, the showers have shampoo/soap and there's also a disabled/ sit down shower if necessary. All in all a very pleasant visit.

Stayed at the Marriott for a weekend, absolutely great location. Right in the middle of the city, very friendly and helpful staff. I would def recommend

Excellent location with very professional and approachable staff. The rooms are classically decorated and maintained to a high standard. Huge tv in the room! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Nice hotel. We stayed on a Saturday night and were on the 9th floor. We could still hear the music from a nearby club. Also enjoyed the noise from next room.

Standard Marriott Hotel. As with most Marriott hotels, this offers a pleasant stay in modern stylish surroundings. It has extra facilities such as a pool and gym, although I didn't have time to use these. The room was good standard ans public areas were in excellent condition. Recommend staying but could not for those on a budget. Great location.
