ASSISTANT DIRECTORS / ASSISTANTS TO THE DIRECTORS.
This year, Everyman members have the opportunity to join each main festival show as an Assistant Director.
We'll be looking for one Assistant Director for each production and this is an exciting opportunity for aspiring (or established) Everyman directors to work with a professional director. They'll be able to enhance their own skills and bring these back to the playhouse season shows and the rest of the membership.
... If you want to hear more, come along to the Directors’ presentations in Chapter on Wednesday at 8pm.
More information about applying for these roles will be available soon.

We were only in Cardiff for one night. We went for a walk in the park and heard minstrel music. Decided to investigate. Found a theatre production. The marquee listed several performances and we were told the evening performance was Macbeth. It sounded a bit heavy but we decided to give it a go. Imagine our surprise and delight when Spamalot turned out to be the performance instead! We laughed till we cried and sang along with the entire audience! A happy mistake!

User

We went to see the King Lear last night and thoroughly enjoyed and the cast did brilliantly! We look forward coming to their performances at the open air festival

User

Watched fiddler tonight, was absolutely fabulous!! Well done to all involved, the cast were great, the set was perfect, just a lovely evening! Thank you!

User

To the cast and crew of Aladdin Junior. You did yourselves proud today I absolutely loved it! Thank you so much for the invite down and the offer to return Saturday which I will accept!! The performance from the soloists as well as the ensemble was perfect and the joy which it brought the audience was better than any show I have seen in a while.

User

This festival makes my year. It’s the highlight of summer for me. Just wish there was a pantomime and that I could be in that. It’s a secret dream!! Anyway if you are looking for a great night of theatre, go here.

User

The open air festival exceeded all expectations. I went to watch ‘Fiddler on the roof’ and it blew me away. The singing, acting, cherography and direction was no different to what you would see on a west end stage. Being open air added to the atmosphere and I ended up going three times! An incredible venue with incredible talent

User

The cast and orchestra of Fiddler on the Roof were brilliant. I enjoyed every moment!!

User

Saw King Lear tonight . A challenging text from the Baird , But the Everyman Youth Theatre nailed it. Playing to what must have been pretty much a full house, they delivered. You could see Sarah Bawlers stamp all over it . Even more impressive is that many a new members to the group this year . Well done one and all . King Lear , very nice . I do wish the Everyman theatre group would give these talented young performers more visibility in the summer program , this show is anonymous in the program schedule !

User

Saw Fiddler on the Roof, matinee on Sat 21st July. It was simply brilliant. Amazing and talented performers and musicans...thanks also to everyone else who made it happen. Great value too at £15 a ticket. My first attendance but wont be my last.

User

Fabulous reenactment of classic Dads Army episodes. Definitely worth a visit to this open air theatre. I look forward to seeing further productions in the future.

User

Fabulous production of King Lear by Everyman Youth Theatre last night. Why on earth are they not given a longer run and marketing push like the other shows?? Gave the shows by adults a run for their money, and would be nice to see more of the next generation of Everyman actors.

User

Brilliant production of The Merchant of Venice at Sophia Gardens yesterday. Loved the 80's setting whilst staying true to the text. The cast were fantastic. They played to a full house in desperate temperatures and still delivered. Thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent.üëèüëèüëèüëèüëè‚ù§Ô∏è‚ù§Ô∏ è
