We had a brilliant day at Classic and Competition Car Events at Motoring at the Manor yesterday! One of the highlights for us was definitely checking out the Shadow DN5 car. Can you spot the design elements on CR13 which were inspired by the Shadow car?
Today we're at Classic and Competition Car Events at Motoring at the Manor. There is such a range of awesome vehicles here, including an old Shadow DN5 F1 car! Tom Pryce, the only race-winning Welsh F1 driver, used to drive for Shadow in the '70s. Our competition-winning car CR13 (which is also on display today) was named after his mother Gwyneth, and took some design inspiration from the Shadow DN5, to recognise Tom Pryce's great achievements in Motorsport. ποΈ . . . .... . . . . . . . . . . . #CardiffRacing #CR15 #CR13 #TomPryce

With the build of CR15 gathering pace, we were delighted to receive a care package from RS Components to help us in our preparations. 3. What are you most looking forward to this year? Eating the final year students after they graduate and have fulfilled their purpose
4. Who is your current favourite Formula Student Team? You mean there's more than one?!
5. State one fact about yourself: Jenson Button called me cute
6. What course do you study? No course in particular, I just watch the 'How to Train Your Dragon' documentaries on repeat
7. What made you join Formula Student? Free rent and all the students I can eat

... 2. In a sentence, what do you actually do in the team? I give the students tasks and tests on the car, stem activities, and am an expert truck and trailer driver πͺ
3. What are you most looking forward to this year? The same thing I do every year pinky, I love seeing the students achieve goals, and seeing them get amazing jobs because of this fantastic project
4. Who is your current favourite Formula Student Team? Apart from Cardiff Racing, I'm a fan of the UK teams in general. I take my hat off to the poorly funded teams who struggle to build a car, but still produce a great car through determination and team work
5. State one fact about yourself: I once won a dance competition on holiday
