Stayed nearby, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, food was excellent and not overpriced, will certainly be returning.

I regularly drop by Carew Inn for Curry Club on a Tuesday when they have a selection of curries available and a drink included in the price! Tasty food in general and very generous portions. Good idea to book in advance because it can get busy.

We love this popular charismatic pub. Best to book to avoid dissapointment. Recommend the "My ol mans chicken"

Not bad at all. The lad at the bar was very friendly and offered a good first impression. Food was pretty good, would recommend the garlic potatoes :)

Very disappointed. Ordered 2x 10oz rib eye with all the trimmings off the specials board (£18.95). Very poor quality meat and cooked well done when asked for medium rare. Definitely no where near 10oz and about 1cm thick. Peppercorn sauce not available. Very fatty chips. Nice onion rings and nice cider. Camembert starter (for 2 to share (£10!)) looked microwaved and was cooked so much it has over flowed so very little left edible. Came with bread sticks, raw peppers and cucumber which were not a nice combination to dip. All left hungry inc 4yr old after his kiddies steak so we had to call in tescos for more food. Owner argued when we complained. Offered us £4 off a £70 bill. We didn't want money off, we wanted a nice meal! Such a shame because this will be our new local 😞

Ticks all the right boxes for a great meal out. Great fresh food, massive selection and lovely interior. Specials board was mega too.

Had dinner here last night with my dad. The pub was warm despite the very chilly weather, with several stoves lit throughout the various rooms. The staff were polite and friendly and efficient, and showed us to a table. I had sea bass which was very tasty and the seasonal vegetables I chose came in a nice hot dish and were cooked just right. Garlic potatoes were also delicious.
