After a crazy busy weekend! The weather is on the turn tomorrow so we are taking the oppertunity to close the shop and get some ice cream made, some last min jobs at the shop and give our very hardworking staff a rest!! Thank you so much for everyone's support 💗💗💗

It's a bit too windy down on the sea front for the piaggio today so we won't be out! The shop will be open as normal so we will see you there. 💗💗💗

Monday - Saturday 10.30 - 5.30 (this is weather depending if it's a stunning sunny day you can assume we will stay open later)
Sunday 11.30 - 5.30 (as above)

What an amazing family so nice and friendly!

We had beautiful hazelnut ice-cream in Criceth with great service from Dave & Olivia,

Then popped into the shop at Porthmadog to see Liz & try there purple moose dark side.

Wow!!! I was blown away by the flavour it tastes exactly like the beer! IT'S A MUST TRY!!!!

Walking along the prom and came across this wee gem. Between us we had pistachio, double chocolate and cherry bomb ice cream. Fair to say it was top drawer. Great service with a great product. Delicious !!!

Walked past and my boyfriend decided to have a look at what ice cream they had, we were delighted to hear that it's all made by the shop and also that it's all vegetarian and 2 were vegan � he decided on the mint and chocolate, I said I didn't fancy anything. Came back 10 minutes later after having a sneaky taste of his. It was amazing � I ended up getting the coconut and chocolate � lovely lady on the counter, shop it beautiful and welcoming.

Unbelievable ice cream - best we’d ever tasted!! Ran by an absolutely lovely man who obviously puts a lot of time and effort into making the ice cream!! Worth travelling from Manchester for!! Definitely worth a visit �

Tried this delicious ice cream whilst on holiday in Criccieth...we loved everything about it from the cool little Italian truck they sell it from, the friendly welcome and smile we got from the family selling it, and the care and thought taken in sourcing the ingredients. The banana flavour was amaze balls !! ���

This was our second visit here and, as before, we were warmly welcomed. The shop is spacious and immaculately clean with plenty of seating. The ice creams are all made using locally sourced ingredients and are all delicious. I had Elderberry and Elderflower and others in the family had double chocolate and rum and raisin - all were excellent. This is how ice cream should be. Highly recommended for anyone in the Porthmadog area.

The ice cream(gelato) and pancakes are to die for. 2 visits in the space of 3 days says it all. The lively lady who served us was so cheerful and friendly xx

The ice cream was really refreshing and fresh especially the real good thing about it was her parents made it by themselves!! The owner was really friendly and it was nice talking to her� would definitely want other's to visit her!!

I’ve been wanting to go in here for ages and finally got round to it this weekend. The flavours are a little bit different and I was really pleased to see an elderflower and elderberry ripple which was perfect for this time of year. It’s a family run business who make the gelato themselves and the young lady that served us was really friendly and told us lots about good local places to eat. I was only sorry that I couldn’t make it back for an Eaton mess sundae. Hopefully next time!

Ive been working my way through all the flavours in Cariad Gelato and everyday I find my new favourite!

The service is always amazing and the family behind it all are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Ill be back tomorrow for my next favourite and then the next day and the next and the next....

Everyone raves about Cadwaladers Ice Cream just up the road and I can honestly say It’s not a patch on this ice cream maker! Hand made ice cream not your processed muck! By far the tastiest and also friendliest of them all. I highly recommend it. Also the owner takes it to Cricceith beach on sunny days which is a winner! You must prove me wrong people about this! You won’t win trust me it’s lovely. ���

Been in Porthmadog for 4 days now and been to Cariad Gelato 3 times so far. My only regret is that we haven't been 4 times. The pistachio gelato is probably the best I've eaten anywhere in the world. Worth every penny, we'll be back tomorrow.

Beautifully furnished place with a warm welcome from the lady in charge who took the time to give us some sight seeing tips as well as to serve us very good coffee and lovely ice cream.

Beautiful gelato and sorbet. The sorbet is dairy free, as are the cones so great for vegans. The flavours were beautiful. I had the rhubarb sorbet which I've never see before and the rhubarb was grown by the owner herself. The kids loved the chocolate! All in all, fabulous and we'll be back on a regular basis �

Amazing!!!! We had the best service and proper tasty ice-cream from you. Really really yummy. Even Dylan got to have some and for a black labrador that loves icecream it was a real treat. He got hold of the pot and was one happy pup. Diolch!! Xxx Back for more for sure

Amazing gelato. I wasn't going to have one whilst the rest of the family did but after a taste I realised how delicious it was and had to have one myself. I would definitely recommend as there is another ice cream shop up the road but this was just something else. Lovely guy too!
