About Cariad Glass
Cariad Glass is a traditional stained glass studio run by Chris and Justine Dodd. We specialise in commissions, restorations and offer tuition too!
Cariad Glass Description
We work primarily with sheet glass and lead, but also use copper foil, some fusing work, sandblasting and kiln-fired painting in our work.
The ancient art of stained glass is incredibly rewarding, versatile and fascinating – please do get in touch and we will be delighted to discuss your requirements.
Chris has been working as a stained glass artist since 2002 and has worked on commissions for clients across the UK as well as further afield – Australia, New Zealand, America and even The Bahamas! His work has also featured in video form at the V& A Museum.
Along with wife Justine, we are now able to offer tuition to small groups of people who would like to try their hand at the ancient art of stained glass, or perhaps improve existing skills.
Normal studio hours are Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri – 9. 30am til 4. 30pm, Weds 9. 30am-1pm and Saturdays by appointment BUT this does vary depending on workload, so do please give us a call if travelling to visit the studio.

We are all a little shell-shocked here in Llandysul at the moment...as you can see, our wonderful little town has suffered the worst flooding we've ever seen here, and the worst on record for 30 years.
Our home and business has been unaffected BUT so many others have been terribly affected, with homes, vehicles, businesses and belongings damaged and lost. Sadly, the storm has also claimed the life of a young local man, so this is a terrible tragedy that has touched the lives ...of many.

We've just picked up our fabulous oak tree. Such lovely people. Beautiful work. I would fill my home with their work if I could!
We had a above door window commissioned and from start to finish the experience was perfect. So happy to now have it pride of place in our home

I recently did a days course in stained glass. It was fantastic. Both Chris and Justine were very attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed it and came home with a beautiful piece of stained glass. Both very talented poeple. Cant recommend them and their work enough.. Xx

Had an amazing day today at the beginners class. The atmosphere was brilliant, the cups of tea where yummy and most of all, my final stain glass panel I'm in love with. I enjoyed myself so much I have already booked into the intermediate class!
