Just leaving London now after a bonkers day with Canon UK having a right good go with the fantastic new EOS R Mirrorless camera system... there is more to come from this but here is a really quick 50 second snippet of the day.
I think that there has been a lot said in the media about this camera by people who have not even tried it...
I have now and to be honest, it is a camera that commands its price tag and those lenses are on another level. Just when you though that L seri...es glass could not get any better, they unleash these new RF Lenses...

This is my second experience with Carmarthen cameras and I must say how impressed I have been with their services.on both occasions I have purchased a Dji drone the second being a top of the range phantom 4 pro and all the staff have flown drones and are very knowledgeable about them detailing each model from another.you are never waiting for long to be seen to and that's what makes good customer service and all is very cheerful and happy.altho I have bought 2 flying cameras from this store I deffo intend to go back to purchase my first DSLR camera very soon as I'm now hooked on photography above and and below.many thanks Carmarthen cameras �

I've used this gem of a shop a couple of times in the last few years. Always so friendly, professional informative. Love my new (second hand) Canon EOS 60D - looking forward to do some amazing photos with it. Diolch yn fawr, will be back again.

I love this place, always helpful and advice top draw. Was down last Friday and Sean and the rest of the guys were there to get me sorted. Worth the journey from bridgend to get all my camera equipment

I chose this shop over the online companies because I needed guidance and advice with my choice of camera from a human expert not a load of written reviews on a pc.The staff really know their stuff and the camera was sent and packaged well and arrived quickly.Excellent service and I'm glad to support a small business rather than a huge online retailer.The price was good too.I am still a customer 4 years later.

Ps Ive also phoned for help with my camera and spoken to Jo who is brilliant.He does lessons which sounds like a great idea.He helped me with stuff I couldn't find in my manual.

Found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable if your in South Wales and in need of any kit pop in its well worth it. You can't beat a good independent camera shop.

First time I have used Carmarthen Cameras and I am delighted with the service. I ordered a new Manfrotto tripod as my cheap one got broken. Ordered on the 15th delivered today, incredibly well wrapped for protection against wind, rain and impact. I've never seen anything else so well protected. I shall certainly be checking this dealer next time I need photographic equipment.

Fantastic service (as always) today at Carmarthen Cameras. The staff did a no quibbles replacement on a set of pocket wizards and were knowledge on alternative products. They also gave me a good trade in value on my old flash guns. I'm a very happy customer and will continue to recommend this shop.

Bought an Irix 15mm Blackstone for my Nikon. Arrived a day earlier than expected. Websites easy to use. will definitely use again!

Attended the camera workshop with krish and ian..cant thank you both enough really enjoyed the day and came away with some ausum pictures.hopefully there will be more of these days so i can attend again.. thanks

At Carmarthen Camera's yesterday. Had the service I've come to expect. Friendly, informative and professional. Good laugh too. Friendly bunch of guys who know their stuff. Don't have to buy - call in for help and advice. Have a browse, look around. Of course if you want to buy they don't mind � Oh and I forgot previously to give feedback, if you need tuition book a lesson with Joe � very knowledgeable. No, I'm not on commission just feel praise where its due ��

Amazing staff, they're all so helpful and were dedicated to helping me! I purchased the Olympus Pen E-PL7 and didn't realise I'd selected the option with no lens � but luckily after I emailed them explaining my issue they gave me the best possible deal on the lens and even reserved it for me until pay day! They also sent this out free of charge and it arrived so quickly. Thank you so much, I'm really enjoying my new camera and lens �

What a waste of time... again. First time I went there was for a battery that an earlier phone had confirmed they had in stock-only to be told that “we are having trouble getting them at the moment, haven’t had any for a while, and second time (today) was ignored by three members of staff; one having a nice FaceTime conversation, the second on the phone, and a third just faffing about. Not even an acknowledgement.... The place looked like a bomb site too. So, if the store owners read this... this is NOT the way to run a business gentlemen. There WONT be a third time.

I cant help feeling they are trading on the fact that they're the only shop within about a 30 mile radius, (probably double that in terms of the pembrokeshire area) Each time I've been in I've felt like I've been had, first time i tried a part ex, I was given a much lower price than I expected, I was told 'ah no that ones a film lens not digital so its not worth as much' even though it was sold to me as a 'Digital' set, Now that I'm a bit more camera savvy i think I'm a bit more aware, I've found they're prices are proportionally higher across the board compared to other second hand retailers available, (again, where else can you go round here?) They seem to be running down their second hand stock (unfortunately its begun to feel like they think second hand stock brings the 'tone' of the shop down), Even when there's stuff in stock i'm interested in, the staff seem to prefer to be in the new section where the big bucks are,

Its a shame because they could have a cracking business going on what is effectively a small shop, but they seem to feel that they can have a better class of clientele than the general 'riffraff' I regret but I'm no longer tempted in
