Night Owl Road Rally An excellent result for Carmarthen Motor Club crews on the recent Aberystwyth &District MC Night Owl Road Rally, the 3rd round Of the WAMC Road Rally Championship. CMC taking top 3 positions with - 1st Overall Driver Kevin Davies, 2nd place navigator Alan James, 3rd place driver Kevin “Penclaw” Jones. And well done to Martin Curzon/Rob Thomas, Aled Jones navigations (Car 31) and Lucy Norbury navigating (car 68) A good challenging route was put on by Aberystwyth & District MC.

Excellent finish for Marc Davies navigating for Stefan Daniels finishing 3rd overall and 2nd semi expert on only his 2nd time out navigating.
... Malcolm Jones finished 4th overall and 1st in class, well done Malcolm.
And and excellent 8th overall and 3rd in class for Scott Meakins driving for the first time with Gordon Meakins (DAD) sitting alongside. Ps happy birthday Gordon for Monday.
And well done Amman and District Motor Club.

Some great results for Carmarthen Motor Club members on last Saturdays well organised event held by Lampeter and District MC.
Well done to Kevin Davies and Alan James on 1st overall. Top job boys.... Not so good for Kev Penclaw, DNF with a broken driveshaft. Martin Curzon and Rob Thomas 18th O/A 10th Expert. Rob Stephens and Nathan Summers unfortunately a DNF. Dai Roberts sickness. Mark Stephens and Lucy Norbury unfortunately a DNF. Marc Davies 46th O/A and 6th novice. And last but definitely not least new members Lloyd and Daniel Evans retired with Dan feeling unwell after going very well, first event for Dan who is only 12 , better luck next time.

We gather there are very good packages on offer through Fairfield for anyone competing on this year’s Carlow Stages. This is a great rally to do with very helpful organisers. If you are thinking of doing a one day Irish event then give Fairfield a ring on 01656 725000 and speak to Lisa or Judith.
