All cleaned and locked up, lights out and ready to lock the gate.... A huge thank you to all that have helped in anyway to make our P2P such a success today. On the whole the weather was kind, windy but dry, but in fact worked in our favour in so much we had to move everything in to Blinkers Bar under the grandstand, where The Local Ukulele band entertained and created a great atmosphere and craic. A great days racing, with many runners from afar and every horse and rider ret...urning safe, a first time ride and winner for schoolgirl Alexandra Ingram, a potential Foxhunter winner in Wishing and Hoping (galloped a class field into the ground and won in a canter) and a double for reigning Welsh Champion Bradley Gibbs. Once again many thanks to all that turned up and supported, and may the rest of the season be as trouble free and just as much fun.

After 9mm rain overnight the going is now soft, heavy in places, been dry since 5am and forecast is mainly dry with odd light shower throughout the day, windy but the high winds not expected till after 6pm, peaking at 9-10pm.

Update on weather and Ground Condition Ffos Las, 6pm Saturday evening. After dry days yesterday and today, till misty drizzle late afternoon (1mm) forecast this evening is for more prolonged drizzle till 10pm, heavy showers till 3am (6-10mm) and drying out Sunday morning. Throughout Sunday we should have dry periods with some showers, getting blustery by end of day. The peak of gale is due late evening after racing. Ground is still soft but could change to heavy in places if top end of forecast is received. Will update early morning, but for further info please call Dai on 07970 828961

Those of you travelling from Mid Wales / Llandovery way on A40 to the P2P on Sunday please note that the A40 will be closed all day for repairs between Manordeilo and Llangadog. Diversions will be in-place that will take you to Ammanford (Road Highways Route), this will put at least 30 mins on to your journey.

15mm rain overnight Thursday, and further 4mm Friday morning, but been dry all day and forecast is good for Saturday. Some light rain due Saturday evening into Sunday morning, (6-12mm) but if forecast is correct it wont affect the days racing. Going is now soft.

Wednesday 4th December 6pm. Update on ground conditions for P2P on Sunday. After another good dry day Going is now officially Good to soft, Soft in a place.
Forecast for Ffos Las is for another dry day Thursday, chance of light showers overnight Thursday but clearing Friday and dry till Saturday morning. Saturday Cloudy to begin with some outbreaks of rain, showers overnight but clearing Sunday morning. Cloudy with Sunny intervals during day.

Going update - soft, Good to soft in places, Forecast for Ffos Las is dry till Thursday evening, showers through the evening till late Friday Morning (4mm) cloudy but mostly dry into Saturday with slight chance of light showers in afternoon, (1-2mm), Sunday cloudy with sunny intervals with chance of showers late evening .
