My name is Carrietta Molloy. I am an artist living in Wrexham, North Wales.

I have a Ba (Hons) Design: Illustration from Glyndwr Univeristy, Wales. My illustrations are produced in watercolour, pastel and mixed media.

I have a background in couture textiles, having trained and worked as a hand beader, beading designer and sewing machinist at the Shelagh M. Bridal Studio.

My inspiration is drawn from the natural environment, vintage design, international folktales and found objects, creating a playful and whimsical approach to both my artwork and textile designs.

I am profficient in many forms of beadwork including flat work on fabric, french sculptural beading and structured pieces using wire framework, along with a plethora of textile production methods and fibre arts such as natural and chemical dye processes, spinning, felting, weaving, embroidery, pattern cutting and corsetry.
