Cartref Boarding Kennels & Cattery

Animal lovers!!
Our dog Jess had never stayed in a kennel before so we were understandably apprehensive. After visiting many kennels where Jess would stay while we were away on holiday, only Cartref stood out for us. Dave and Diane were genuine animal lovers. They made us feel at ease and met all of our needs. Jess took time to settle in they reassured me with updates as requested when we were away.
Jess had a few issues and not surprisingly Diane won her over and cared for her needs. Very impressed with the care Jess received. We would definitely use Cartref again and would also recommend!

Fab kennels... both cats & dogs well looked after .. friendly staff... highly recomended

After having to have one of my cats put down, Cartref said they would contact me to discuss a refund but only if they had a smaller chalet for my other two cats. They neglected to return my call and after chasing this up they offered a measly sum. Less than 15 minutes later I received a call cancelling my booking.

If I could give them 0 stars I would!

When emailing them to ask for information about my dog staying with them (American Bulldog cross Labrador) I was told they didn't take American Bulldog to which I politely asked why. The reason I got was simply we just don't.

Manners cost nothing!

They looked after my 2 dogs while on holiday, you get to take your dogs to their kennel and pick them up so you can see it's clean and tidy and your dogs will be treated well. Very nice people running the kennels also.

My cat has been coming here since he was 6 months old and he is now 6.
The owners are very friendly and very flexible. It's like home from home for Toby and is very comfortable in his heated room.
I would definitely recommend to anyone
