Dylan Thomas Boathouse (Welsh below)

The Boathouse in Laugharne is where the poet Dylan Thomas lived with his family from 1949 to 1953, and where he wrote many of his most famous works. The house is open from 10. 30am to 3pm October to March and from 10am to 5pm April to September and the later opening hours also apply on Easter weekend. The Boathouse is closed during the week leading up to Christmas.

Admission is £4 for adults, £3 for concessionaries and £1. 95 for children. There are discount rates available for families and groups. There is a tea room for which there is no admission charge, where a range of drinks, home-baked cakes and light snacks are served.
