I really liked the Castle Court, which is both a local pub and guest house. We stayed here for a three night break in early May, and were assigned a newly refurbished room, which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. This is an old building with steep stairs and narrow corridors, but that's what you get with old buildings. There is a comfortable sitting room for hotel guests, and a dining area used predominantly for breakfast - although guests may also use it for take-away meals on request. There are three considerations when staying here. Firstly, it doesn't have its own car park. You may park on the street for free overnight (18:00-08:00) or on the sea front car park, which is reasonably priced and very close. Secondly, it is an old building, with steep stairs and no lift. Neither of these is a problem for the reasonably mobile, but you've been told. And thirdly, the only meal you can get at present is continental breakfast. Again, this shouldn't be a problem as there are several very good cafes & restaurants in Beaumaris to try. Bear in mind that "continental breakfast" in UK terms does not include cold meats, cheese, eggs etc. as is common in much of europe, but that is a fairly widespread difference. So don't let any of these considerations put you off. Beaumaris is a great place to stay, and the Castle Court is good indeed. And the beer's pretty good too.
