Castle Hotel

Is not actually any on-site car parking, but the food is great and plentiful. Reasonable pricing. Central location in the town

Good value for money. Nice breakfast. The staff were helpful.

Really welcoming atmosphere. Its an old style hotel yes, but its clean and comfortable which for me mattered most! Hair and body wash in the bathroom was a nice touch as was the comfy armchair in my room! Overall good value for money great location just needs a few tweaks!

Great staff and great food. Very dated inside and top floor has no pressure for the shower so no hot water. It very hot in the rooms even with windows open the fan doesn't do anything. The bathroom door is loud to shut and my shower head didn't fit so had to hold but it didn't matter as I had no hot water so went to a friend's on the first floor. Only free socket was behind the bed so had to put the bed out to use. My view was lovely though.

Very clean and tidy! Staff very nice. Food OK.
Overall I would say good value for money.
Maybe extra staff at busy times would help as we had problems purchasing drinks in the bar without having to go in search of staff!

Area is a bit run down and lots of outside noise by revellers way into early hours..

Clean rooms and good service. Good location to visit different places around.

Looking dated inside and in need of some TLC. Was comfortable and the breakfast excellent, friendly staff

I've spent pushing 4 months here and can't fault it for the price.
Good staff, good service and reasonable rooms. I'd travel an hour to stay here rather than other hotels.
