Cathays Surgery

Awful service. Very rude. Avoid this surgery if you can.

I mainly see Dr Davies and she is lovely and been a great help, the staff are really friendly and they have all been a big help with my varying medical issues over the years. I have also had no problems in getting prescriptions for medication quickly either.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Incredibly rude staff, beyond shoddy system for ordering prescriptions and getting things changed, and not exactly an extensive list of things they can do. I'm under a consultant for severe chronic asthma and the attitude of the reception staff and GPs is shocking - been left without my medications several times because they don't process it/don't update the online ordering system/don't accurately write the scripts. Was actually asked by a GP who tried to hospitalise me TWICE in the 3 months prior why I couldn't go without a rescue inhaler. BECAUSE I WILL END UP IN HOPSITAL, AS YOU WELL KNOW. My consultant was horrified to hear that they're putting people at risk like this and recommended getting a new surgery. If there were any more in walking distance on a bad breathing day, I'd have left after my first appointment.

I would give 5 stars if the receptionists are kinder but obviously they are so rude, especially the receptionist that was on the desk on Thursday 8 August, afternoon. I've noticed that several times!

Very bad service, a clueless doctor and a very rude nurse with gray hair who i saw many years ago but google didnt have a reviewing system at the time.so i cant even remember her name but definately a bad surgery
