Helen Bramhall is an Award-winning Social entrepreneur and Freelance Business Advisor with a passion for developing creative businesses with social benefit.
Helen is a fellow if the Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland Social Entrepreneurs Programme, a competitive programme and package of support for UK based social entrepreneurs. The one year long programme provides the UK's most appearing social entrepreneurs with both financial support with a £4k grant and access to a comprehensive learning programme and business mentoring scheme. Additionally
helen was a finalist in the Ifwecanyoucan business challenge November 2015; Runner up in the The Northern star 2015 business awards (sponsored by Sage) Social Entrepreneur category and received a Unltd.
Helen was the winner of the Innovation and Enterprise Scholarship 2016 which enabled her to study a Masters in Arts, business and creativity at Newcastle University. Helen is active in the extra curricular opportunites within the university- She is a Debating society active member (chosen to compete in Manchester NAMDA novice debating competition 2016); Nominated as student representative year (2016-2017) and was selected to participate in the ACN Global Ethics Case Competition for Mahindra group. This was a consultation project which involved working alongside other students from Fudan University (China) and IIMA (India) to find a solution to an existing problem facing the company. She has achieved the NCL + award and is currently completing the NCL + advanced award in Leadership.
Helen is truly a culture vuture- especially going to performances and events in the contemporary theatres in Newcastle and beyond. She lives at home in North Tyneside with her husband Luke, 3 year old son Jonah, rescue dog Jake and two cats Alfie and Betty. As a family they can often be found roaming National trust properties or visiting Seven Stories.
