Great place to visit, to learn about Welsh history

A very informative visit with plenty of photo opportunities and very friendly welcome. There's a quaint old tea room that pleasant to sit in with old items around to interest you too.

Visited this wonderful museum with my son and mother in law. Great time had by all of us as we asked questions of our very helpful guide, touched the machinery that powered the pit, and tried to get an idea of how this beautiful part of Wales felt while it was a workplace for the local community. If you have the time you should definitely visit.

A free educational and interesting insight of local Welsh history. Well worth including on the itinerary whilst visiting other nearby attractions. Staff are always courteous and more than ready to assist. No charges for parking.
