Help Please Share, yesterday morning at 7.40am this van fly tipped a van full of rubbish at the Farm Park. There has been lots of fly tipping around the area lately but this one got seen doing it. Any information on the owner of the van would be nice, and a big reminder to only use a big reputable company to move your rubbish........ you think you are paying someone to move your rubbish but really you are paying them to tip it in the beautiful countryside..............

Still busy making hay, the sun has dried the grass out and now putting it into rows ready to bale.

“Make Hay while the sun is shines “ it’s that time of the year where we cut, dry, and store the grass to feed the animals through the tough winter months.

Car park is full, plenty of space after 2pm now please c

We went as a family of 7, 4 adults and 3 children. The kids absolutely loved the animals and the petting of the guinea pigs. The play areas were clean and so much fun (kept them entertained for ages).

All the animals looked really well cared for and seemed happy which is always a plus. I like the fact you can buy animal feed for them and there are lots of hand washing facilities.

We went during half term it was busy but what we expected even so it was such a lovely experience and I would recommend this place for anyone.

User

We had a lovely bank holiday at the farm, as we have loads of times before! So much to do and see! My 5 year old daughter is a recently diagnosed Diabetic, and it was our first time eating out anywhere with her since the diagnosis, and the staff I dealt with were so lovely and helpful, going out of their way to find out the nutritional values of the food she was going to have and making sure they were written down and left behind the counter for us when we needed them. Made a nervous mums day so much easier, and we are so grateful, I just wish I'd gotten a name so I could thank personally! Xxx

Omg just come back from a family day out, 4 adults and 7 children ages from 12-3. What an amazing day!! Father Christmas was the best I have even seen!! Spent quality time with the kids and interacted with them all brilliantly!! And I truly believe he was the real one!! . The gifts where amazing, thoughtful for their age group and gender!! And of high quality!! Not just a selection box!! I would highly recommend this farm over and over again xx

User

Lovely place to visit. Loved the animals especially petting the Guinea pigs. Great that some of it was under cover as the weather was miserable. Soft play brilliant. Slightly expensive for a cupper but then that’s normal now. Tired one of the homage pies while we were there and bought some sausages from the Moody Sow Farm shop they were delicious. I will definitely be going back just to by more food.

User

I visited the farm today with a School trip-the farm accommodated us at short notice and Santa made a special trip to meet us there! Santa was amazing, he took lots of time to chat with the children, listen to them singing and made the whole experience truly magical. He was so lovely he must be the real one .

The farm as always was immaculate and lots for the children to do indoors and outside. Thank you for a wonderful day

User

I have a great afternoon visiting the farm with my nephews, great experience, good coffee and excellent day out. Got some great advice from the Gardner in growing my own vegetables. Excellent overall.

User

Great place to take the grandchildren. They loved feeding the animals, digging holes with the real mechanical diggers and running around the soft play area. We'll be back and I'd definitely recommend it.

User

Fantastic day out,we took our grandchildren ages 6 an 8 years old.

They really loved it there especially the pony ride it was there favourite thing!

User

Brilliant place for the whole family and a fantastic restaurant which serves fantastic food but unlike most Family parks doesn't charge stupid prices very reasonable and fantastic locally sourced food All the meat, Vegetables ect are locally sourced The Lasagne was fantastic

User

A fantastic day out! It has everything from animals, play and fresh air! Our children were worn out and couldn't have enjoyed their visit more. We ate in the cafe and bought some nice things for tea to take home from the shop. Every member of staff was happy and smiling and working so hard but still had time to help if you needed anything. The farm was spottlesly clean from the toilets, cafe, play area and out of doors. The children loved the horse ride and the animals all looked so happy and well cared for. An excellent family day out and we can't wait to come back!

User

1st visit to the farm. Took my grandchildren, 9 year old and 21month old. Something for everyone, really, really nice day. Prices are reasonable with no feeling of being ripped off. Highly recommend.

Visited your farm park yesterday and was disappointed there are no concessions for disability. My son has cerebral palsy, is a wheelchair user and therefore the soft play area he is unable to have use of besides the majority of the playground that is out of bounds to him due to his disability; I trust we are not the only visitors in this position. I think it is unfair for a person considerably less abled not to have full use of what is available at your premises for equal price to neurotypical individuals. When charging £6.50 entry for him (in line with everyone else) there should be a minimum of suitable change facilities available for those who require a hoist and change bed; there are facilities for everyone else but not for the less abled persons so surely your entry fees should reflect this. I trust you don’t charge for babies or hope that this is certainly not the case.

Alternatively, a carers entry reduced charge could be considered in accordance to something similar like a CEA card that other attractions welcome, I brought my son’s PA to assist with transferring him (as he requires 2:1 for lifting) and aid him with feeding the animals etc which allows me to attend to my other child. Without my son’s PA I would have not been able to change my son for your lack of change facilities, otherwise would have meant either changing him on dirty toilet floors, not to mention his loss of dignity and worst case a health and safety risk.

I think Cefn mably needs to adopt more of an inclusion policy for those less fortunate that come for an experience and/or to merely be involved in family outings, at present it regrettably seems you care more for money than your customers. Also, there are playground/soft play items on today’s market that are available to wheelchair users, also adapted bubble tubes etc for children with poor motor skills etc that require these adaptions for accessible use - maybe worth a gander to promote inclusion that could mirror your entry fees to all persons.

However, I’d applaud the horse riding for allowing my son’s Carer to walk alongside for extra support and in turn allowing him a lovely experience the same as his sister enjoyed. Animals are well cared for and the cleanliness was good over all. My daughter loved petting and feeding the guinea pigs. Also she enjoyed riding the play tractors around the farm which is a nice idea. Also, the microwave for warming baby foods and/or disabled children requiring puréed foods/medical supplements to be warmed was a welcomed gesture.

I hope you take customer reviews seriously and consider suggestions to improve your attraction.

User

Loved it here until today when we were told that you can’t eat your picnics inside anymore just glad it’s not raining only 4 tables under cover eating with animals

User

I have visited be farm many times over the years and always have a lovely time. The farm is always well kept and animals well cared for so would always recommend to others. However on a recent visit in the half term I have to say the visit was really let down by rude staff in the cafe, no clear queuing system there which us customers were penalised for and it was ridiculously busy- the worst I have ever seen it was chaos. To me it felt as though too many people had been allowed entry. Do you have maximum numbers?

Also there were many tables taken up by people not eating or drinking in the cafe but taking up the tables because their children were playing in the soft play area. We genuinely wanted to have drinks and food but could not because of this so in the end we left after only an hour or so being in the farm. Staff were fraught because of how busy it was and this just made me want to stay away in school holidays.

Just spent the evening with friends and our young children for the Halloween party that was pre booked. Was ok, thought that there could have been more but what I was surprised at was the price of food at the bbq. A fiver for a cheeseburger that to be honest looked as if it had seen better days! Times that but several children and you are making one heck of a greedy profit. Not impressed at all, food and drink are overpriced here but honestly thought that the bbq prices were extortionate.

I called them before our visit to ask if they do any discounts for carers but was told no. So I sent them a Facebook message to ask to reconsider it in the future explaining what financial strain it is on a family to have somebody disabled especially a child and what benefits they could still have if the allowed free entry for either the child or the Carer. No response. So I messaged again to say at least an acknowledgement would have been nice and maybe a : yes we’ve got your message and think about it but still no.

Just to mention a few places that do and they’re equally popular: Noah’s arc zoo farm, Raglan farm park, Longleat.

Shame on the management here for not even responding to my query.

User

Gäng idioter som inte vet hur man bemöter folk överhuvudtaget. Basically if you are a group of 2-3 year olds you don’t even have to bother going there as they will deny you entry to start with. Spend your money / time somewhere else where they actually don’t make little kids cry.
