Cerebral Palsy Cymru is Wales' leading charity for babies and children who have cerebral palsy. We provide specialist therapy and support to families and children across Wales living with cerebral palsy. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of all children in Wales living with cerebral palsy. At Cerebral Palsy Cymru, we focus on the ability, not the disability. Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in children in the world, and it is estimated that around 70 babies will be born in Wales every year who will have the condition. There is no cure for cerebral palsy, but at Cerebral Palsy Cymru we provide services that make a real and positive difference to the life of every child we support. As a registered charity we need to raise £1. 8M every year to continue to provide our current level of service. 80% of this total comes from fundraising activity such as regular donations, gifts in wills, fundraising events and the income from our charity shops. We know that the more money that we raise, the more families and children we can see. Because we know – we can make a life changing difference. .
