Unlikely lynx killed 8 sheep. Their diet is small mammals. Dreadful decision to shoot her - cruel. She cout have been darted. She was beautiful young lynx probably not very heavy. We will never come to the County again other than to the zoo. No longer will we shop or stay overnight. Whoever made the decision to shoot should be sacked and the Council should compensate the zoo.

This is the council that decided to shoot a beautiful Lynx cat rather than darting and sedating it. They brought in a professional hunter to do this. Lazy, uneducated idiots. This cat was never a threat to human life. They just chose the easier and cheaper option. Sickening!!!
