We will only allow 2 customers in the shop at any one time, Markers and a one way system will be used and we have hand sanitizer at the entrance and on the counter, perspex screens have been installed.
Payment by Contactless where possible

CLOSURE UPDATE
Dear Customers,
Having had the address from our Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday night, we wanted to inform you of our position as it stands today.
... Most, if not all, of the Prime Minister’s request for closures focused on retail outlets and shops but having sought further clarifications from the government’s guidance, we can establish the following;
• Hardware stores can remain open - trade outlets still need to supply builders & plumbers with their essential needs. • Under the heading, Advice for the housing & building maintenance industries. ‘If you are working on site, you can continue to do so’. Robert Jenrick - UK Housing Minister
We are continuing to work through the implications for our business to ensure that both our colleagues and customers are protected. We fully intend to continue to supply our customers however due to various constraints now in place, due to the Coronavirus, we will operate with a reduced number of staff in our Branch as much as possible to reduce the risks and improve the safety of our people. Regrettably we will therefore need to reduce our opening hours.
In an effort to continue to provide a service to customers, it would be helpful if the following procedures could be followed:
For the order of ESSENTIAL items
1. Where possible all orders should be placed via email info@cpslampeter.co.uk 2. Or WhatsApp 07805 597211 3. Place order before 1200 midday for collection between 1200 and 1500 4. We will not accept walk in customers or face-face contact

Closure Update There are many changes happening at incredible speed that are affecting business and everyday life. We have been working very hard to keep up with the pace of the changes and, above all, protect our people, our customers and their livelihoods and our business. Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday evening [23rd March] we have taken the decision to close the branch. Any scheduled deliveries today (Tuesday 24th March) will unfortunately not be ful...filled. This closure will be in effect for 24 hours on Tuesday 24th March while we seek urgent clarification from the UK Government about how we can operate our business within the Government guidelines. We want to play our part in helping the country overcome this crisis. We have been doing this by taking steps in our businesses to protect our people from the risk of the virus. We also do this by helping our customers provide essential maintenance of homes and public buildings, helping self-employed customers stay in business and by providing essential livelihoods for all our colleagues. As you will appreciate this is a very difficult decision. Above all safety, wellbeing and health has to come first. We apologise sincerely for any disruption this causes to you.
