What a lovely time we had. This was the first holiday I have taken on my own with my 4 year old and we had a great time. There is a huge range of accommodation in various quirky forms, the food is good and everyone is so friendly. We stayed in the brilliant and self contained eco pod which has a bed, sofa and tiny kitchen along with a separate compost loo. Definitely worth a visit.

What a gem! Over the last 10 years myself and friends have booked accomadation for large groups around the UK; this was the best we ever had. A party of 18, 2 dogs and 3 in the B&B our party ranged from 1 to mid forties. The rooms were generous and clean and we were thankful of the many bathrooms and laundry. We spent 5 nights and were never on top of each other. It also had a well equipped kitchen that allowed us to all cook and eat socially. There was also ample parking for 5 cars. The staff were fantastic and professional. The older kids enjoyed the freedom of the pool table and games area. There was some lovely dog walking on site and locally. We are now planning our next booking where we hope to make more use of the on-site bar, pizza oven and hot tub. A fan of yurts I would consider taking my family if 4 on a separate get away. It has a wholesome caring feeling to the site and magical panoramic views that I expect change and stun the whole year round. Thank you for a great holiday.

We have just returned from the most beautiful unique wedding at ceridwen farm. It was an idyllic setting for anyone looking to connect with nature and escape to the country. We felt so relaxed and happy to experience this alternative wedding. The ceremony took place outside in a beautiful garden with majestic views of the countryside and the birds singing in the trees. The reception was in a big festival tent draped with personalised bunting and messages. The vegetarian food was imaginative and delicious and the selection if local ales and produce were exceptional. It was quite a long way to get there but definitely worth it. I can't fully give it justice how it felt to be in such a lovely place. If you're looking for something magical and alternative you will love it here. Really lovely friendly staff and owners too. Thanks everyone x

Ceridwen was brilliant from the moment we first got in contact to arrange a viewing. We knew straight away we had found the perfect place, and right from the start they were organised and made the whole process of planning our wedding enjoyable. For example, they were able to recommend lots of local specialists who really added that extra something, such as superb wedding guitarists (L'atitude) and a florist who grows all of her own flowers (the Woodland Farm). A particular highlight was the tasting session they ran in the early part of the year, which was lovely and gave us the chance to sample their delicious range of food and wine.



The setting is absolutely beautiful. We cannot put into words what a magical place this is. It is so unique to be given the opportunity to get married under a pagoda overlooking the lush green valley below. All of our guests loved the amazing accommodation, which ranged from lovely yurts to rustic farmhouses and, in particular, a converted double decker bus with the best views. We stayed in the gypsy caravan, which is absolutely beautiful and set in its own secluded part of the farm. It really made our wedding to have everyone we cared about staying in one place.



Our wedding day was all we could have hoped for and more. The lovely staff made it so easy to relax and helped run the day seamlessly. The tipi provides such an amazing venue for a reception. We were given free reign to decorate it as we liked, which really helped us to personalise our wedding. The catering was out of this world, and all of our guests commented that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding.



A real bonus of getting married here is that you can spread the celebration over a weekend. We started with a pizza party on the Friday, where the delicious food and wine helped all of our family and friends settle into the relaxed spirit of our wedding. We finished with an amazing brunch on the Sunday which provided a great opportunity to say our goodbyes.



Finally, the team at Ceridwen are such warm people who could not do enough for us. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day the best of our lives!

We had 13 friends staying at Ceridwen House, the self catering farmhouse Mon-Fri, it was quite by chance that we found it online, but it proved a great location. Lots of space - three lounges - and a big long table. We cooked every night apart from Thursday when we went to the popular pizza night at the Centre. The staff at very professional and friendly.

We got married here in April 2012 and it was the most amazing day in the most amazing setting. Nearly 6 years on, it is so nice to read so many more lovely reviews and see that this amazing place is chosen by so many more couples for their big day. It is a truly stunning venue and the whole weekend was perfect from start to finish.

The place and the people at Ceridwen couldn't have made our wedding day more special. They were happy to help with anything we needed, including table and flower arrangements and operating the music system while we ate. They also set up the sweetest photo booth in their barn which was lit up quite magically in the night and we sat on straw bales. We also had pizza the night before the wedding, which was super delicious and hand made in the wood fired oven which was a nice touch to get everyone together before the big day. Our guests went for the glamping option, staying in the yurts, and in the hopshack. Our yurt was on a raised deck overlooking forestry. It was truly beautiful to wake up to! The afternoon tea was plentiful and very tasty as was the evening BBQ. The day couldn't have gone any better. Thank you Ceridwen for a perfect day 😊 X

Simone, Eleanor, Roger and Rob should be commended in the best possible terms for their dedication to customer satisfaction and willingness to deal with every possible query, request and challenge with a 'can do' attitude that is hard to find these days. The site is in a beautiful country location with lovely 20-minute or-so drives to the gorgeous local beaches. The food was universally lapped up with gratitude and very high praise, the accommodation very comfortable and clean and well-maintained - our guests staying in the yurts absolutely adored them and some have already booked to return. We had 39 children in our party of 144 and they were all thoroughly entertained too. We're extremely grateful for everything that was done for us and would recommend Cerdiwen / Welsh Green Weddings to anyone looking for a top-notch, rustic, country affair.

I was there on Wednesday for my mums 50 wedding anniversary the owners and staff are all excellent we had pizzas cooked right there in front of you and the lasagne and salads were amazing but the best was cheesecakes and trifle were amazing and the house we stayed in was fab so a big thank you to you all for making my mum and dad feel so special xxx

I have just returned from a 2 day machine embroidery retreat hosted by Refresh Workwear, held at Ceridwen Centre and cannot recommend the venue highly enough. The Old Byre and Dairy were just perfect for our stay with a clean, cosy comfortable 'living' space, and a huge workroom. The staff were so helpful, friendly and just lovely (thank you Debbie), the food was outstanding and plenty of it (thank you Rob), and the owner was really helpful and pleasant (thank you Simone)... I will definitely return.....just beautiful - even on grotty November days..�

I have been using the Ceridwen centre for many years now, for my women's retreats and various other events and celebrations. It just gets better and better. The venue has many delightful aspects, not least the staff who are wonderful and so considerate of the needs of me and my delegates, colleagues and friends. As I have probably used almost all of the various places/spaces now - the B+B, the Ceridwen house, the Byre and Dairy, the gypsy caravan, the yurts and the wooden cabin I can highly recommend it as a great venue for almost anything!!!from a deeply spiritual silent retreat to a family party, a romantic birthday treat or wedding.
