Excellent value for money! Beautiful hotel in this lovely 19th century structure (apparently inspired by the architecture of French Loire region chateaus). We stayed in the Nant bedroom which is in the main building and has all the amenities you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. It is nice and roomy and decorated in the style of the building. It can be a little noisy sometimes outside, before 11pm, as the kitchen is just behind it but after that you shouldn't have any problems. All the staff were wonderful and very helpful and willing to make our stay as comfortable as possible. You can freely walk the grounds of the chateau, which has a nice garden and even a tennis court. Last but certainly not least, the food was excellent as well.
Highly recommended for a romantic getaway.

Scenic position, interesting interior and history. Comfortable and welcoming. We are in the restaurant - the food we had was delicious if somewhat pricey for what was on the plate. We did have a very long wait for our first course. Did eventually get an apology and reduction on bill so not sure if this was a one off problem or not.
This place has blown my mind and exceeded all my expectation. We stayed here valentines (which lucky for me is my wife's birthday) for a few nights in the coach house. 3 bed, massive living room and kitchen. I could not ask for any more. The staff were amazing and the chateau is really great.
Experience a bit of luxury and stay here for a night or 2. I regret not staying for longer. But I will be back soon
What an absolutely beautiful place. Unfortunately we wasn't staying on this visit but hope to soon but the staff we great and took the time to show us the bridal suites which blew us away they were stunning and almost complete from being redecorated so in mint condition their showers where amazing. As for the rest of the castle like building and grounds just kept us astonished and delighted the whole tour. We where able to just buy a drink and go down outside over looking the river it was the most peaceful moment I think of my entire life and an extremely romantic place to visit with my partner. If you don't visit your super crazy and missing out.xx

Amazed to read J.A.'s review that he "didn't feel safe". Don't let that put you off, this place is idyllic. Fab views, superbly well-trained and friendly staff and good food. Public rooms are amazing, and bedroom shower was marvellous ( in the turret - three shower heads). Bed was very squeaky! 😊
Nice place but poor wifi in the lodges. Hot tub had no step to get in only a ladder against the wall which was difficult for a fit person let alone anybody else and the sauna was out of order. There was no member of staff at the hot tub and sauna to oversee things so i asked my partner to stay as there was nobody else around and didn't feel safe on my own. The staff were very good, very polite and helpful that was a plus.
I attended a family wedding at the chateau rhianfa and they provided a generally excellent experience. The building and grounds are beautiful made all the better by the idyllic Welsh surroundings. The staff were superb. Friendly, amazingly professional and extremely helpful. My only criticism was that the food served didn't live up to expectation. Don't get me wrong - the food was good, just not as spectacular as everything else about the rhianfa.
