Lovely location. The place is tired and it feels very much that they know how beautiful the location is and so don't maintain the place very much. Rooms are basic and have seen better days. Bathroom is basic and had seen better days. Everywhere needs a bit of love and some fresh paint. Felt expensive for what you got. Had dinner one night and was not impressed with the quality. No phone reception anywhere, no Internet connection in rooms and sketchy in the bar area. Won't be going again
We just popped in to the hotel bar for a quick drink on our way from Llangollen to Glyndyfdwy - it's a long walk! The staff were very pleasant and the view is gorgeous. The hotel is right on the banks of the river Dee, opposite Berwyn station on the preserved Llangollen railway. It was lovely sipping a pint in the autumn sun whilst watching the steam trains chuff past! The hotel itself is quite an unremarkable building - a flat-roofed 70s style construction which is not really in keeping with its surroundings. It would, however, be a great base to explore this lovely party of the world.
The management and staff made my daughter's wedding day into an unforgettable event. A wonderful location between canal, river and steam train.
Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Food is lovely. The staff were great, we ordered a childrens meal for my 20 month old son who knocked the plate on the floor, the staff replaced free of charge. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Loved staying at the chain bridge hotel. can't wait to go back friendly polite staff. Rooms at a reasonable price clean and comfortable. Excellent view from room and a big plus having there own balcony. Cheers to all for making our day/night. Keep up the good work.

Brilliant views while you eat or drink
A well presented hotel set in a lovely location, rooms are great and some with balconies overlooking the chain bridge and waterfalls. Food was fantastic and service brilliant, only draw back was the limited WiFi coverage within the hotel.
Great location, dog and walker friendly. Clean and welcoming with attentive staff. Can't comment on accommodation as we were only visiting.
