About Chaplaincy At Southwales

We are the Chaplaincy serving students and staff at the University of South Wales.

Chaplaincy At Southwales Description

Chaplaincy at the University of South Wales is open and inclusive. We rejoice in the fact that people come in all shapes, sizes and types. While rooted in the Christian tradition, the Chaplains respect everyone’s faith and we respect the thinking and exploration of those who are not committed to any faith. At the Chaplaincy you can find information about a variety of faith groups. The Chaplaincy is also a place to meet with friends. You are welcome to join in any of Chaplaincy seminars and discussions and social activities.

There have been some disturbing letters circulating recently calling upon people to have a day of action against Muslims on 3rd April this year. We would like to make it clear that this is completely disgraceful and unlawful. Should you experience any hate or harm, due to your religion or race, you should report it to us immediately.
We would like to make it clear that you are a valued member of our community here at the University of South Wales. As a faith community, you are a very welcome part of our wider university community.
On behalf of the whole Chaplaincy team we wish you peace and blessings.
