fabulous friendly helpful company .. took mollie there today as she has special needs and we have been unable to get a riding hat to fit her ..the staff were amazing !! a big thankyou to jeff for making mollie safe doing what she loves ..I now know why we only buy charles owen hats .. nothing is too much trouble thankyou

My head is always very hot so an unventilated hat is no option. My retailer ordered an ayr8 classic with tan harness and no logo for me early December 2016. Would take about 6 to 8 weeks (longer than usual being a "custom order"). I'll spare you further details but Murphy's law got in the way and the helmet arrived mid April after an Intervention by Helen from Charles Owen customer service . Great service, faith in your CA customer service restored and a stunning helmet!

I've always been happy with my Charles Owen helmets. Their high quality has held up through multiple jobs I've had that involve riding all day and in all kinds of weather. They fit better and more comfortably than any other helmet I've tried, and I can wear them all day with ease - and without getting a headache like I do with some brands. Most importantly, they offer the best level of safety that I've been able to find on the market. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, in any level or discipline, looking for a new helmet.

I recently had a fall from my 15.2 mare and my helmet literally saved my life,I landed on my back so the helmet took the brunt of it ( as did my back !!! ) thank you Charles Owen for such good quality gear

I purchased the GR8 for my son in 2014, he was 7. Having been jumper and eventer for over 30yrs, I knew the quality was well worth the price. He only has one head was what I told his father. I am so glad I did. He had a rough fall from his pony, landing head to back ,thankfully into banked sand in indoor arena. The helmet showed the points of impact and thankfully he has no serious injuries. Will be purchasing another for his 5 yr old brother ASAP. Thank you.

I have to commend Pam Carter, Customer Service Team Leader for her excellent service. My daughter won the Charles Owen Technical Merit award at an event in California. One of the prizes was a $425 certificate for a protective vest. We could not find a local dealer that carried the vest we wanted. Pam took care of everything for us, guided us very carefully through the measurement process and displayed great patience. We love Charles Owen products and the level of service provided. Thanks.

I had a nasty fall on the road last week where both the horse and I came down on the road. I was wearing my Charles Owen 4 star and I can remember hearing my head smack the road. I didn't feel a thing! The hat has undoubtably saved me from a traumatic head Injury and I have gone straight out and replace the hat with another Charles Owen 4 star!!!! Brilliant brilliant hat! Thank you Charles Owen!!

I bought a Pro II a few years ago and then subsequently had a really nasty fall in which it saved my life. I had a head on crash at high speed into a wall. The hat cracked and i luckily only got away with a shattered wrist. I bought a replacement but of a different make but it just wasn't the same so I've recently purchased a pink Ayr8 Absolutely love it to bit ���

Very very disappointed. I ordered a hat from Hope Valley Saddlery on Wednesday 9th March. They were out of stock but called yourselves and arranged for the hat to be couriered straight to myself for Fri delivery 11th as I needed hat to compete at weekend and Sat morning still no hat!! Wouldn't mind but I paid extra to receive hat for Fri. Charles Owen have excellent products but maybe need to check out what courier they use. I will be having words with Hope Valley too!!!

I bought a cap last summer and payed a lot of money for it. In the winter the cap is to wide for my head. When my horse is jumping away the cap comes before my eyes so i can't see anything! In de summer the cap is too tight and I must put it of for a couple of minutes to give my head some space... It really give me a headache. Nice cap to see but really not to wear and I regret that I bought one.

Loved the helmet at first . Within a year it compressed so badly that it is now huge. I contacted CO and got the run around for over 2 weeks. In the end they would not stand behind their product. I will never purchase a CO again.

I have been showing for almost 22 years and for the majority of that time I have worn various Charles Owen h2000s. I decided this time purchase a brand new Fian and spent just over £200. When I first put it on I noticed there was some solidified glue in the velvet. I took it back to the shop I bought it from and they contacted the Charles Owen rep who took it back and had it repaired and sent back to the store. This took around 2 weeks. I was happy with the repair and took the hat off to Equifest. I wore the hat a second time and the velvet roll between the peak and the start of the hat began to unravel and the velvet began to shred. Again, I returned it to the shop where I bought it from and they were great and sent photos of it to Charles Owen. Charles Owen couldn't see the damage and requested the hat back again! My hat has now been gone for 3 almost 4 weeks and I've heard nothing back. I rang the shop who have said they have heard nothing. This hat has spent more time at charles owen than it has with me. I do want this hat as it is lovely but for £200 and being worn twice I don't expect it to have to have been repaired once, let alone twice! For a company that I have raved about over the years I feel very let down by their customer service.
