Another fantastic night for the junior section... Our very own junior Game of Thrones with Llanarth continued with an Under-11s Shield game at Chepstow. Dominant win set up by opening stand of 111 between Mariam Sahabdeen, who scored her maiden 50 (retired), and Bruno Chitnis (28).
They were very well supported with the bowling from Toby Bennett (2-7), Gwilym Garrigan (1-15) and Eddie Hillman (1-13) who accounted for Llanarth's top order and Chepstow won by 38 runs to go thr...ough to the next round.
Thanks as ever to Llanarth for the spirit of their players and support. Back to Llanarth for round 3 with the 13s next week...

A fantastic evening of cricket with our Under 13’s being victorious away at Llanarth CC, moving us into the next round of the Welsh Cup. Chepstow batted first and scored 129 for 8 off their allocated 20 overs, with Llanarth in reply scoring 127 ALL OUT in a nail biting last over. Thank you to Llanarth for your hospitality and playing the game in such great spirit.
A stirling effort by a team who was made up of mostly Under 11’s... the future is bright with some very talented... cricketers moving up through the ranks...👏
