Delighted to say we have managed to get a tiny amount of the wines, with only 60 of each in the UK they are a rare treat!
The Aliaxe is truly unique, a blend of Caino & Loureiro Espadeiro blend from vines older than the register, approx 180yr old! It is delicate, detailed & absolutely delicious.
... The Equilibrio is tiny parcel of Albarino that's grown on red slate, this wine has a stunning nose of classic apricots & peachy notes, but with sciltilating acidity that makes this wine go for days, up there with the best Albarino we've seen.

Popped in for a glass of mulled cider this afternoon. Had a very warm welcome and came away with a lovely bottle of red that was meant for the following day but couldn’t resist opening it tonight, we were not disappointed. Will be back again soon to stock up.

My husband bought me a lovely bottle of Sauvignon and a limited edition gin from here! I have not been in there myself but the wine and gin fantastic and he said they were really helpful in there. Looking forward to a visit!

Lovely drinks, company, music & made our dog very welcome. Really know their stuff and are relaxed and welcoming.

It’s with a heavy heart I have to give this place 5stars and recommend it, mainly because I don’t want other people coming here and making it more difficult for me to get a table!!!!

The place is fantastic, relaxed, cosy and inviting, with fantastic staff and the charming Chester. Drink, be merry and feel welcome! Can’t wait for my next day off to come back again!

Excellent wine shop with plenty of variety and choice of wines for all occasions. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Also stock a nice range of craft beers and gins, well worth popping in to see something different and a friendly German Speckled Pointer.
