**Food Hygiene Score** Following a recent spot check visit from the Council Environmental Health Department we were unfortunately unable to maintain our 5 star food hygiene rating, despite being awarded the highest standards in 3 previous unannounced visits since we opened back 2011. The truth is that, on the day and time when the recent inspection took place, our kitchen staff were under a lot of pressure and found it difficult to deal with the demands of a busy night with c...ustomers orders, weekly stock deliveries from three different suppliers and on top the spot inspection as preparations were being made for New Years Eve which is the busiest night of our calendar year. (30/12/19 date of inspection)
It was a very demanding situation and proved difficult for us to maintain the highest standards that are required by the Food Standards Agency. All the issues that were identified at the time of the inspection were rectified and met within 48hrs. We have submitted a Re Scoring Application to Swansea City Council [15/01/2020] Environmental Health including considerable evidences and are now waiting for a re visit but unfortunately this can take up to 12 weeks.
We can reassure our customers that we take food hygiene very seriously and are very hopeful that a better score will be achieved very soon and we would never compromise the safety of any of our customers.
