If I haven’t already told you. Here is a stark warning that’s is reaching the radar of all professional sweeps in the country. Disused back boilers should have been removed or have a hole drilled in them to prevent pressure build up.
These are the stats for carbon monoxide poisoning. Solid fuel has the 2nd most cases below gas. If you feel nauseus, dizzy, tired or foggy when your fire is lit then STOP open your doors and windows and evacuate the property. Call your chimney sweep to thoroughly inspect the chimney system and install you a carbon monoxide alarm.

Luke has installed a log burner at our home and has made it look effortless. Throughout the process Luke has offered advice, kept us up to date and advised of progress using videos and photos. I have been at work and been up to speed throughout knowing exactly what was going on. Luke has immense pride and you can see this through the quality of his work and his customer service. We have had very little disruption and despite very confined spaces has fitted to our home a very natural looking burner which we are extremely pleased with. Luke is very approachable and will listen and advise to all concerns and available to help post works complete usually very promptly. Can not recommend highly enough, it's a pleasure to know reputable trades and Luke is no exception.
