Our Adventurers began a new curriculum on Sunday. Each week they'll learn a Question and Answer from the New City Catechism and understand it with a story from Thoughts to Make your Heart Sing by Sally Lloyd Jones.
Each week, the lesson will be written up and posted on the kids blog. We’d love you to review this week’s Adventures lesson with your kids. Why not find some time to chat about what they learned?
Parents!
We'd love for you to use this short devotional to review this week's story with your kids. Head on over to the kids website to check it out:
Dads! It's Who Let The Dads Out tomorrow morning at Christchurch from 8.30am.
Bacon sarnies, bouncy castles and activities for the kids. All welcome!

SCEPTICAL FAITH //
Fake news, flat earthers, climate change denial. Scepticism, in its many forms, is all around us in today’s society and has cemented itself into daily discourse.
Faith is, perhaps, subjected to the most scrutiny of all.
... That’s why we’ve created Sceptical Faith, a new weekly forum in early Autumn where we’ll encourage debate and take everything with a pinch of salt.
But it’s not a free for all. There are a few ground rules.
At Sceptical Faith we’ll assume that neither secularism nor any religion is true. Participants are encouraged to listen carefully and weigh-up the various world views present (including their own). Although the meeting is hosted by a Christian pastor, we’ll be consulting multiple sources - personal experience, philosophy, mythology, history, sociology, as well as religious text - to compare systems of belief and consider how much sense they make in comparison with one another.
Week 1: Meaning Week 2: Self-Identity Week 3: Justice Week 4: Hope
Places on SF are intentionally limited to facilitate conversation. When booking we’re also asking for commitment to all 4 weeks and that you (to the best of your ability) describe your faith-perspective.

Dads!
There's no 'Who Let The Dads Out' this coming Saturday as it's the Summer holidays.
On behalf of Mums everywhere though, please do feel free to give them a lie-in anyway!
We attended the Christmas party this evening and it was absolutely amazing! To all of the staff and everyone behind arranging tonight; thank you! We had a ball! The kids loved it the food and entertainment were fantastic and seeing santa was priceless merry Christmas everyone and a happy new year!
We are all on this journey together and it is so refreshing to feel the support and love of people who are there for each other and not only want to be a better version of themselves but to reflect the love of God in everything they do.
Our church family where we worship God, love Him and others, and go through life together. We love it!
Lovely building and lovely people - very welcoming. No gimmicks, no nonsense - just good solid bible teaching and honest worship. Fantastic church!
Love this church! Our home away from home. Lovely people!
Its our home of faith to trust the lord and obeying his glory by means of salvation without God we are nothing.
Fun bunch of people ..really honest and open
Beautiful people, lovely welcome, great place to worship God together.
