'Accountants for the Third Sector'

CISWO Community Accounting Wales is a social enterprise that specialises in offering ‘affordable’ accountancy services to third sector clients, including charities, friendly societies and community groups. The enterprise has been funded by the South East Wales Community Economic Development fund (SEWCED)

With an 18 year track record of delivering professional accountancy services to various charities and charitable organisations based throughout the United Kingdom, CISWO (the umbrella charity for miners welfare organisations) has launched this Welsh Social Enterprise to tackle the problem many smaller organisations have in obtaining affordable yet professional accountancy services.

CISWO is a National Charity which has a focus on the key role of delivering community and personal welfare services within mining and former mining communities. Since 1952 it has aimed to address the welfare of mineworkers and their families ‘beyond the collier gate’.
