I always try and shop at local hardware stores instead of the big chain superstores like B&Q. And Clarence's is an Aladdin's cave. Everything I need for most projects and some. Very friendly and helpful staff, and prices are very reasonable.

Such amazing staff and customer service. Its a family run store that's been there for over 50 years. The prices are super reasonable, I bought some MDF at a fraction of the price you would get at a larger hardware store. Architecture students who want modelling material I would definitely recommend.

One of the best things about Grangetown is Clarence Hardware, it's an institution. Friendly advice, help and banter a plenty plus practically everything diy-related you need to keep your life on an even keel.
