Clarks

I got a pair of shoes and later in the day I went back for a bag. I spoke to a differ t member of staff and both times the staff were lovely and overall made my day much easier!

I was returning shoes as the wrong width size had incorrectly been sent via an online order. The Manager was very unhelpful would not let me have a refund for the shoe as I did not have proof of purchase for the shoe size (width) I was returning. I explained this was because wrong shoe size had been sent by head office. Manager would not phone head office on my behalf to resolve the issue nor would she let me use Clark's phone whilst in store on requesting to ring them myself. The Manager was unhelpful and rude and accusatory. I returned home and contacted Clark's Customer Service myself who instantly resolved the issue and apologised for the Managers appalling standard of Customer Service. I am a long standing customer with Clarks. The Manager of the store very nearly put an end to that. I am surprised by the Manager's nature as all staff in Clarks in the past have been great.
