Clifton Surgery

Absolutely horrendous service from this surgery. Went in to see a Dr regarding my depression to which I was told to do yoga, man up and gave me 6 months worth of medication all within a 5minute consultation.
Further experience when ringing up to get a new prescription form my Dr was told no pre bookings could be done and I would have to ring on the day to try and get an appointment but nothing could be promised. I rang 2 weeks before my current medication runs out but was told nothing could be done unless I ring on the day even though I explained I needed to pre authorise the time off with work. Receptionist was no help at all.

Very tough to make an appointment. However have had no issues with care from doctors. When people read reviews remember that doctors are ridiculously stretched everywhere with the number of patients they have to fit in. I agree the booking system is overly complicated but cannot fault the doctors.

its impossible to make an appointment. Been calling 20 times between 8.15 and 8.30 am to make an appoinment(busy). and when i reached them i heard that im calling to late. i should call at 8.15 (!!!!!)

I did a call to a get an appointment 8:25 and this is a second day where I cannot get an appointment. I don't know what to say I am frustrated how the Health &Service works. The national health do not care... or the receptionist blame us and they just blame their clients who are needed to to see a GP.

What a load of incompetents hiding behind the term unfortunately when there is no unfortunately about it and trying to force me into doing something I didn't want to do so I refused and said I'm not doing it and you can't make me! I won't be going back there and will be making a complaint and looking into changing practices in due course.

Ive never had a good experience with this place they treat you less than human an the doctors have always been rude an demeaning my phone rang once an it was my mother who hasnt been well lately i answered it telling the doctor it was my mother she looked at me an told me "how dare i answer the phone" an that i was rude my mother on the other end was sooo shocked she asked were i was an she couldnt believe i was in a professional place where you expect to be treated with care understanding an respect i genuinely thought my phone would disrupt the medical machines in the surgery so asked if this was the case she replied no an then cut her eyes at me an told me "take your prescription an leave you dont answer your phone while in this room its rude" now Considering i told her it was my mother an she didnt know the surcumstances of the call and i was only waiting for a print out of my prescrtion i couldnt see what i had done wrong this is just one experience ive had among the countless many not to mention how rude the staff are wen trying to book an appointment

It can be tough to make an appointment, but generally I've had no major problems with the practice staff and Drs.
