The results of tonight's round of the Rhayader Hilly Time Trials has been posted on www.clive534.wixsite.com/rhayaderhillies The night was very pleasant with a light Easterly breeze, giving some very quick times. A few records were broken, and once I have worked it all out I will post an update. Many thanks to Liz Slater and Alex Powell for doing the timing. See you all in 2 weeks time for the next round, which will be the Dams Clockwise course.

Starts just outside Rhayader and finishes at the base of Claerwen Dam. First rider off at 7.00pm. Entries at shop from 6.00pm.

Tonight's Rhayader Hilly Time Trial is CANCELLED. Snow on the road and falling temperatures make it too risky. Such a shame, there is a good tailwind out there!

Round 1

So the Rhayader Hilly Time Trial Series starts next Thursday, April 4. The first rider is off at 6.30, entries are taken at the shop beforehand. There will, as usual, be a category for road bikes. The rules are simple; no aero bars, no shaped helmets. You can wear long socks and skin suits, but it would be appreciated if you left your expensive aero suits at home. (Shaven legs are OK!). Remember to bring your lights. See you soon.

The first snow of the year, but toasty warm indoors. Call in and have a coffee.

I'm looking for someone to pit for me at the cyclo cross in Shrewsbury on Saturday as Francine cannot make it. Can anyone volunteer? I'll buy you a burger!

Work is coming along insulating the van. Should be testing it out soon!
