Please see a helpful Website on Guidance on shielding and protecting people defined on medical grounds as extremely vulnerable from coronavirus. Here is the link: https://gov.wales/guidance-on-shielding-a nd-protecting-peop…
I've included a video for those who would prefer to watch a video and for those who may have a disability that affects sight.

The team at Hywel Dda Health Board have created a wish list for patients in hospital.
Remember, these patients aren’t allowed visitors so if you can help them by getting an item off this wish list then please do!

Important for anytime but especially now in current times.

Thanks to Eluned Morgan for updating some of my colleagues and I on the latest information to do with COVID 19/Coronavirus in Wales.
As the bank holiday weekend approaches, it’s more important than ever to stay home and save lives.

I wouldn’t wish this virus on my worst enemy. My thoughts are with the Prime Minister and his family.
Thousands of people across the country (and the world) are going through this and fighting this awful virus. Maybe this will make those who flout social distancing laws think twice, you could be next.

I’ve had an increased number of people report to me breaches of COVID 19/Coronavirus laws.
Here is a dedicated website to report those breaches to Heddlu Dyfed Powys Police:

I’m hearing of an increased number of people travelling around the county. I know it’s tough, I know it’s not ideal but it’s an insult to every nurse, doctor, retail worker, delivery driver, social care worker, local government worker and every other key worker by not following social distancing rules.
It doesn’t matter whether you think your excuse is unique, the guidance is clear, it has to be essential and essential only.
People are risking their lives to save what could... be your life, your parents, grandparents or as we sadly heard today your children.
Thank you to Heddlu Dyfed Powys Police for the difficult job of policing and enforcing this in our county during these times.
Stay home and save lives!

Following the issuing of revised guidance by Welsh Government yesterday evening (Friday, 3rd April), all 11 of Pembrokeshire County Council-owned cemeteries will be re-opened to members of the public from 8 am tomorrow, Sunday, 5th April.
The grounds of Parc Gwyn Crematorium in Narberth will now also be accessible at their normal hours (10 am to 5 pm) although the Chapel of Remembrance will remain closed until further notice.
Welsh Government is in the process of making ...amendments to the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions Wales) Regulations 2020 which clarify the arrangements for funerals and crematoriums. This includes the revision that cemeteries can remain open but social distancing must be taken into account.
The list of persons who may attend a funeral – namely members of the deceased’s household, close family, and a friend (only if no household or family members were attending) plus carers of persons attending - is also being changed.
The revised legislation states: ‘This will now include the person arranging the funeral and anyone invited by that person (or any carer of any of those persons) who may attend a funeral (and will be considered to have a reasonable excuse for leaving their homes).’ The numbers of mourners attending funerals at Parc Gwyn Crematorium or burials in any Pembrokeshire County Council-owned cemeteries remains unchanged at 12.

It’s absolutely shocking that some people will try and scam people in normal times let alone now. Make sure your Friends and Family know about these coronavirus scams!

Hi all,
I’m pleased to say that I will be working with ‘Pembrokeshire Nextdoor’ in the coming weeks to help coordinate the community response to the Coronavirus outbreak. We decided that working together would be best given that we are operating in a similar way and in similar areas. There are lots of people out there that need help and it’s important for us as coordinators to support each other as much as possible as well as the community.
All of our volunteers will be vett...ed with references and ID checks to ensure that both volunteers and those that need help are protected and safe.
Whilst it is a difficult time for the community, we hope with the links and relationships that we are building can help bring our communities closer together than they were before and we hope they will stay that way long after this is over.
Remember to stay home, protect the NHS and save lives.
Thanks,
Josh
