TheCentre has a timeline of the village from 1794 (the start of construction of the Swansea Canal) to 2002. The park has a children's playground, football pitches, fitness trail and lovely walks and bike rides along the Swansea Canal towpath (part of Sustrans' National Cycle Network Route 43).
