Popped into CMC earlier this week I was greeted by Alun who asked if he could help me in any way but was happy to let me have a look around without trying to push a sale straight away. There was no pressure on making a sale and he was more than happy to help with any queries I had and anything I wanted to know about the bike in question he was easy to get on with and happy to help. The same can be said for the office staff that were helpful and polite when filling out the paperwork.

I would definitely recommend paying a visit here even if its just for a look and a coffee.

No sales pressure , genuine staff who are friendly and a whopping 20% off it really dosen't get much better from clothing , buying bikes to service and parts. 10/10 .

Just bought nicks (staff at cmc) mt09 and i gotta say i love it, i dont think i will ever go back to a twin after riding this bike it is worlds apart from the mt07 i was riding, it is something else deffo turned meninto a yammy fan boy ���

I have just bought a Kawasaki Z900 from CMC South Wales. I saw the bike advertised online and phoned for details as i live near Manchester.I was very impressed with their Salesman Simon. Friendly and professional he organised the sale and gave me a very good deal on the bike. Bike was delivered exactly when they said it would be and exactly as it had been described.

There was a pillion seat and a few extras that had been accidentally overlooked when the bike was delivered. CMC made arrangements for these parts to be delivered next day free of charge!

Fantastic service and i would happily recommend them.

Excellent service, bought 2 bikes this year. Change over was easy, always welcomed Into the dealership.

Called in just to take a look round no pressure nice bikes impressed

Booked in for MT 07 service. I turned up a little late, technician got right on it. Gave me time for lovely Cup of tea , outside the entrance of the shop, for a £1. Had time to look at every bike and accessories.

Bike serviced for £117., very reasonable price.

I like this dealership and don’t mind riding from Bath to deal with them.

Plus there are awesome roads nearby.

Another excellent experience at CMC this weekend. I was prompted that my bike was due a service via email (which was a much needed prompt!). Gavin arranged the service for me, looked after me on the day, and even gave me a bacon buttie & a brew while I waited. Spot on!

A huge thankyou to james at the service dept. I needed headlight sorted out. The places i usually deal with cldnt spare 2 minutes to help me out but james made the effort to fit me in within a few hours.the job was completed in 5 mins. And my safety maintained!!!Much appreciated. Will definately be back �

This morning I called CMC Newport, a nice gentleman explained that I would be able to test drive a Tracer 900 GT as I am looking to replace my weekly commuter.



Over the past 24 hours I’ve been to Triumph and BMW and test road a series of models. When testing with Triumph and BMW I was greeted well and had a very good discussion about what my requirements were and what bikes to test.



Today at CMC I was unfortunately greeted with a different level of customer service. After calling in to check I could test ride a tracer (which is a serious contender) I turned up and was greeted by a very unhelpful member of staff. After explaining my situation and what I’m looking for I was asked “are you looking to buy today”, I responded with “no” as I still needed to test ride a KTM mid week. This is where it went all down hill.



I found it difficult to be taken seriously, as the salesman knew he wasn’t going to get a sale today. I was told I could not test ride the bike as I hadn’t booked (even though I called in advance), I was then accused of taking bikes out for joy rides, and assumptions were made that I would be speeding and racing.



I was then told that someone else had booked the bike out, although I was told there were no bookings. The salesman also mentioned that “you don’t go test riding bikes without buying them” and said “if I test road a bike and liked it I would buy it” expecting me to just pay him £10k without doing my research.



After half an hour of debating, the salesman returned from speaking to the manager and said that I could test ride the bike for 15 minutes! I was shocked and greatfully rejected the offer. If I was going for a joy ride I would have taken the offer, but I wasn’t, I’m seriously looking for a new commuter and how he thought I could get a good feel for a bike, it’s brakes, handling, suspension, quick shifter, cruise control, wind protection and all in 15 minutes!!! Simply shocked!



In the end I wasn’t able to test ride the bike I thought from my research would be the best value for money. I walked away, annoyed, astounded by the poor service and rudeness... and the lack of interest in treating real customers right.



I can only assume that as he thought he wasn’t going to get any commission today he just was not interested.



I have many bikes, even instigating the selling of one to a friend from this very store a few months before.



All in all, I was made to feel like a tool, waste of time, and someone who when I said I would pay cash I got the impersonation he thought I was lying.



Today CMC Newport may have lost a potential sale, do they care, I’m not sure... but all I can say is that I would rather get the triumph due to their service that was offered. I felt like a valued customer.



I’m not angry, just disappointed. In the salesman and the management.



On a final note, They said that the bike was booked out, yet after an hour, no one took it out, lies? Maybe.



Safe to say my time was wasted, and a previously happy customer has now been turned away from going back.
