At The Co-operative Childcare nurseries, we never underestimate how difficult a decision it is to leave your child in the care of others and our aim is to ensure that you have all the information you need to make this very important decision.

The Co-operative Childcare nursery Newcastle is a stimulating, safe and secure environment for your child and we pride ourselves on our warm and welcoming atmosphere. There are 4 home rooms within our nursery split into the following age groups: one room for 3 months – 1 year, one room for 1-2 year olds, one room for the 2-3 year olds and one room for the 3-5 year olds.

We also have a small cosy sensory room in our day nursery, which has been developed for the children complete with soft furnishings and special lighting to stimulate the children's senses. Small groups of children of all ages access the room along with their key person to use their senses to explore and discover new experiences. This special room is particularly useful when new children are going through the settling process as it offers an area that aids the sense of security compared with the spacious play rooms.
