Co-Op Food - Treharris - Mafon Road

It's ok, a nice range of food and staff on whole are friendly.

Myself and my partner shopped here yesterday late afternoon to pick up some bits and bobs, waited in the queue until it was our turn, there was initially just one woman on the tills but another walked along and loudly cleared her throat - she did not vocalize that the till was open just cleared her throat once again.
She then shouted ‘HELLOOO! For god sake!’
We walked over made our purchase, my partner apologized for not hearing her and asked that in future she does not incredibly aggressively shout ‘hello!’ And clear her throat toward customers, and she responded with ‘are you blind? You could see the till was open if you weren’t too busy chatting away’
I called her a vile woman as I felt quite victimized, which should never happen as a paying, loyal customer. We left the store and headed toward the car and realized that she had followed us out and was shouting some absolutely horrendous language our way, we then didn’t bite and argue with this awful lady, we told her to have a nice evening and went home, but we were both quite shaken.
Absolutely the worst experience with a member of staff I have ever had.

A good range of fresh veg, meat and alcohol. Lots of parking, right next to a petrol station.

Co-op shopping usualy has what you need but can be expensive. I wouldn't do my weekly shop with the co-op. The staff are mainly friendly and helpful.
