As many of you will have seen or read over the weekend, there are a large number of people who continue not to heed government advice and socially distance to prevent the spread of Covid 19.

Despite the fact that Coast Deli and Dining could continue to operate as a take away venue, we have made the very hard, but socially responsible decision to close in order to protect our staff and customers.

I think we're now got out head around the changing situation we find ourselves in! We're delighted to be able to post our revised opening times as take away only. Due to the restrictions placed upon us, we will, until further notice, be open as a take away outlet. Our new hours will be 10 to 3pm daily, 6pm to 8pm every night except Sunday evening when we will be close, as usual. Below is a copy of our current take away menu. Ladies and gentlemen, lovely customers and fantastic loyal staff, Yesterday, Boris announced an assistance of ‘£25,000’ to hospitality business of a rateable value of under £51,000. We have a rateable value of £8,500. Lo and behold...when the honesty is revealed, it’s NOT the £25k advertised on ‘the side of the bus’, but £10k! Drop in the ocean? You may well think that...... Making a totally non political point...be careful what you believe, who you trust. We’ll be here when all this is over. We’ll remain open so long as Herr Boris allows. We are continually monitoring the news and any guidance surrounding COVID-19 to keep our doors open and in the ...wake of this we have implemented the following measures.
• We are reinforcing hand washing guidelines with all staff and customers • Developed a company Coronavirus strategy (available for your inspection should you wish to view) . Held a staff meeting regarding best practice in relation to coronavirus • Ensure all our staff members are safe and are taking extra precuations • Increased cleaning across the board including all surface areas and handles • Cutlery dispensers have been removed from tables, cutlery being issued by staff as required • Hand santisers will be available at Coast (as always) so please use where needed
