The epic event makes a fleeting pass at the top of our valley.

A curious Barmouth-related story.....

User

Hooray. Nice to see the Coed Cae gang walking the Mawddach Trail has been renewed on Barmouth Station. Looking much better. If only we could do the same thing in real life!

New chair for the ShowMan's Wagon. Yay! www.ShowMansWagon.co.uk

User

Always liked the Barmouth pictures - glad to see a Dolgellau one now!

There's no getting away from the Coed Cae gang even if you try to run a marathon, we will find you.

User

Much excitement as the OVO Womens tour passed this way.

Team Coed Cae out in force at Trail Marathon Wales today; 5 guests running, and the kitchen dream-team manning Feed Station 4 at Coed y Brenin. Well done Matt Ward, another great event.

The yachts for the Three Peaks Race will be heading out from Barmouth tomorrow, it's always nice to go along and see so much activity around the harbour.

One of these flower arrangements was done by yours truly. No prizes for guessing which. 😂

Nice piece about our Showman's Wagon. 😊

So, the sun is shining, Ras y Gader Fell Race is in the town tomorrow, and the Farmers Market is on Sunday. Not a bad weekend all in all. There's something else going on tomorrow too I understand, but as my invite hasn't arrived, I'll be taking the huff. 😁

Really enjoying the lovely spring weather hereabouts.

Kip making the most of a fresh but sunny day down on the estuary.

Carlsberg don't make tea cosies, but if they did .... The latest addition to the equipment in the Showman's Wagon, a wonderful, bespoke, hand crafted, felted & embroidered tea cosy, and it's a perfect fit. Many Thanks to B from Ruthin for the perfect present. x Brew anyone?

Down at the mouth of the estuary at the end of the Mawddach trail. Nice.

User

Lovely picture of Coed Cae. Possibly from a little too far away to see us smiling. 😊

Making the most of the sunshine. Lovely.

Some fantastic volunteers keeping the Mawddach Estuary beautiful.

User

Lovely, quaint interiors; very clean; convenient location for the beach, the woods, the train up the coast etc., and wonderful, warm hosts! Also serve some of the best marmalade in the land.

Graham and Jacky are the perfect hosts. Comfortable rooms - ours with a private bathroom withbath! - and a nice relaxing lounge!

A great base for walking, biking or other sporty pastimes, but also ideal for getting about to pretty towns and villages nearby by car.

Our stay involved walking the 3-day Mawddach Way and, lucky for us, discovered that Graham and Jacky developed the walk. They were more than happy to offer excellent advice.

We can also highly recommend the food. Plentiful and delicious breakfast but also lovely evening meals. The George III hotel is just over the Penmaenpool bridge and is good for a drink, but Jacky's cooking is better!

First time in the funky self catering Showman's Wagon. Great!

Fabulous! Wonderful hosts.

Best b&b by far.

We'll be back!
