Full moon over Snowdonia from Coed y Berclas.
We're sitting looking out on this beautiful sky and its reflection in the Menai Strait. Seen from Coed y Berclas selfcatering holiday accommodation, Anglesey, North Wales. https://berclas.co.uk
The outgoing tide at Newborough beach, Anglesey, today.
We went for a January walk on Newborough beach, Anglesey, today. Chilly but stunningly beautiful. This is one of our favourite place to go.
Midnight fireworks at Beaumaris. HAPPY NEW YEAR from Coed y Berclas selfcatering holidays, Anglesey, North Wales. https://berclas.co.uk
Following our beautiful sky this morning we had a blue sky day followed by these beautiful colours, seen across our terrace this evening. The sky is still clear and we have no street lights nearby so we can gaze up at all the stars. Magical! berclas.co.uk
Beautiful morning seen from our terrace here on the southern coast of Anglesey. Rare snow on the island today, but we see lots on the mountains of Snowdonia during the winter. https://berclas.co.uk Self catering holidays all year in The Cottage and The Apartment.
Beautiful last light on the last day of November. The mountains are snow capped and looking beautiful. This photo was taken from the terrace of The Apartment at Coed y Berclas. https://berclas.co.uk
The view from one of the Cottage's bedrooms and the view from one of the Apartment's terraces. You can wake up in one of the Apartment's bedrooms and see the same view. It wows our guests. We really have one of the best views on Anglesey. https://berclas.co.uk.
The view from the Apartment terrace as the sun rises over the mountains of Snowdonia into a clear blue sky. https://berclas.co.uk
The weather is wild today, but still wonderful looking out of the windows at Coed y Berclas to the 'white horses' on the waters of the Menai Strait. The mountains are out of sight for now: covered in clouds and rain. It's nature in the raw and stunning to watch.
Walking on Ynys Llanddwyn, Anglesey. This beautiful place offers a sense of peace and tranquility. https://berclas.co.uk
We had a walk to Ynys Llanddwyn in lovely November weather. Anglesey is an island for all seasons. The map of Anglesey, showing its amazing geological structure and the 18th century print of St Dwynwen's chapel are in Pilots' Cottages on Llanddwyn Island. Dwynwen is Wales' saint for lovers. Pilgrims walked many miles to visit her chapel. We are very happy to share St Dwynwen and Ynys Llanddwyn with guests staying in our self-caterimg accommodation at Coed y Berclas on Anglesey. https://berclas.co.uk

Here at Coed y Berclas we are preparing for the storm (Ophelia) to arrive. Five Turbine Transfer boats have arrived at Penrhyn Dock to take shelter: they are sturdy catamarans which can deal with bad weather and this is not their normal base. We watched as the last arrived - we can see Penrhyn Dock, just over the Menai Strait, from the house. Daf is outside making everything secure and I'll soon be on the terrace, folding chairs and putting plants in safe places. Fingers crossed, it won't be as bad as the forecast suggests!
